   Normally go to the one in Caversham but for a change came to this one in lower Earley and it did not disappoint! Food was way better and the waitress with the blue in her hair and piercings was fantastic and to top off the night a cat called Barney came and sat on the chair next to me and i had the best time ever. See you soon Barney ill be back

   Beef was tender, variety of vegetables excellent, roasties brilliant and gravy delicious. Mini pudding a good idea, and the small portion was just enough. The only downside was that the elderflower soda was very much more soda than elderflower, to the extent that I could barely taste the elderflower. Staff were friendly and attentive. In an ideal world the coffee cups needn't be so big. Whole experience most enjoyable and very reasonably priced.

   Brilliant food, was seated quickly with all requirements, lots of space between tables, very tidy, toilets were spotless, portion of meats was absolutely huge! our only gripe was that we didnt realise our 18 month old is charged as a head even tho we brought our own bowl and cutlery for him.. also the waitress kept coming over to ask if we had finished a few times, we felt then rushed to move. But it was really nice we would come back definately.

   Food served on a slightly warm plate, it isn't piping hot when it hits your plate, and goes cold before you've finished the meal. Don't like luke warm roasts. The choice of meats and vegetables is very very good. Sadly the Yorkshire puddings resemble polystyrene when one cuts into them. The service was excellent and the ambience good. Well priced for what's on offer.
