Always had a good experience. Polite staff and expert chefs. Much more than just biryanis - and definitely not just for curries. Fine dining and affordable prices to takeaway. Come visit!

We went there first time after refurbishment and reopening. The ambience has changed for better! It’s more welcoming and lighting g is good. Service was good too. We were hoping for Chetinad Veg biryani which used to be flavourful and delicious! Chetinad veg biryani was not in the new menu so we ordered veg biryani. To our great disappointment, this veg biryani was nowhere near the biryani we used to have at Biryani mama before. No flavours.. mostly tasted and looked like pulao with boiled vegetables! We won’t go for Biryani there!

We recently had Biryani Mama cater a large corporate event for over 120 people, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The menu was impressively diverse, offering a wide selection of vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and even vegan dishes, each prepared with evident care and authentic flavors. Every guest found something to love, and the feedback from our team was incredibly positive. Many commented that this was the best Indian food they’d ever had at a corporate gathering. What truly sets Biryani Mama apart is the masterful touch of the chef. Every dish whether the biryanis, flavorful curries, or the fresh garlic naan was bursting with vibrant spices and perfectly balanced aromas. The chef effortlessly adapted to suit all dietary requirements, making sure every guest felt included and warmly welcomed. It’s rare to see such attention to detail paired with such consistent quality, especially for an event of this scale. The service was seamless and professional, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Our guests were delighted and genuinely happy, many came back for seconds, and some even asked for takeaway boxes for their families! Biryani Mama delivered an experience that truly exceeded our expectations and made our event memorable. If you are searching for a caterer who brings magic to every meal and leaves your guests raving, I highly recommend Biryani Mama. Their culinary artistry, hospitality, and ability to handle high-volume events with finesse are second to none. We will absolutely be returning for future events!

I had lunch at Biryani Mama today and it was fantastic! I ordered a few chicken dishes along with biryani and malabar porotta, and everything was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The biryani was especially delicious — fragrant, rich, and authentic. The portions were generous, and the food was served hot and fresh. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great taste and quality. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Biryani Mama to anyone who loves authentic and flavorful Indian food!

Veg biriyani was just pulav. Fried rice was ok. Noodles was really good the first time ordered. So we ordered again and got really different dish altogether. The main entrance never closes completely. Cold draft keeps you uncomfortable. The menu says the bill includes discretionary service charge. But it was included in the bill and the guy insisted that I pay it. When I stood my ground he reduced the 10% charge from bill.

We friends had dinner here, the restaurant got good seating space and the staffs were friendly.. we tried multiple items on starters and Briyani.. the Briyani taste was good with good flavours but we felt that the Briyani was bit dry.. in fact we had takeaway biriyani as well and felt the same. The starters are really nice. Environment and ambience was good as well . They are offering small discount with QR code for next purchase which is nice. Even though it’s a business encouraging things it’s good.. portions are really good on biriyani. Fried rice was not that great. Staff is friendly and explaining well. I recommend

The food was really good than I expected. Especially chicken lollipop & chicken biriyani. Must try for all new comers. I was impressed with their chicken lollipop ❤️ definitely will return back to try all other amazing dishes. One suggestion would be to add Kerala porotta in the Menu.

This is the best non veg restaurant in reading. Everything served here is halal. I randomly selected chicken lollipop and Mutton Biryani and the taste is really good.

THE BEST SOUTH INDIAN hotel in reading. The ratings provided did not go wrong. We went on a Sunday at 12PM as soon as the shop was open. The Biriyani was very very tasty and exactly like Dindigul Biriyani a popular dish from South India. We had the 2 biriyani combo with chicken 65, mutton bone soup, king fish tawa fry, tandoori chicken, veg noodles. Each dish was awesome and came with tummy filing portions. The only downside that needs to be pointed out, if really, was the location of the handwash as it was inside the toilet. Drinks are also available but we did not try it. Car Parking is just 100m away on the roadside and inside the mall. Best thing is pricing. All the items we had above and the bill came to just 53 pounds. Really a best place and we will come back again
