   We recently ordered food from Crispy Dosa for a birthday party at home, and the experience was fantastic. The food was freshly prepared, and they did an amazing job with both the iconic South Indian dishes and the amazing starter items — everything was finished in no time! All our guests were extremely happy and even asked for the restaurant’s details after tasting the food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious, freshly made food and great service.    A Delightful Onam Sadya Thank you for the fantastic Onam Sadya! The feast was truly an "amirtham" (divine nectar). Every single dish was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. A special shout-out to the Pal Ada Pradhaman and the Jackfruit Payasam—they were standout desserts and a perfect way to end the meal. The Aviyal and Erissery were also excellent; the balance of spices and textures was just right. It's clear that a lot of care and tradition went into preparing this meal. We truly appreciate the wonderful experience❤️

   Soooo happy I found this place today. I was missing Kerala food and this hit the spot. We had the masala dosa, the masala Vada and gobi Manchurian with tea and fresh juice. Yummy fermented goodness. My soul is happy.

   I turned up just after the kitchen had closed but they agreed to cook me a vegan Masala Crispy Dosa to take away. It was fantastic. The dosa was soft in the middle with a third filled with masala. The hot curry sauce and the two cold spices mix pots were great for dunking the crispy part of the dosa into. Couldn’t fault the food or service. If I have one gripe and why I took a star off it’s because they use non recyclable polystyrene cartons and cutlery. Not acceptable today - sorry. Would I go back? Yes (not take away due to cartons) Would I recommend. Yes. Amazing Dosa.

   Very nice.. good staff, clean shop front. we ordered unlimited. wanted to order telgu thali but was not available. we ordered ghee podi dosa medu vada as well. It was good .. but we have had better . overall a nice place to visit and eat. Thali option was better and tasty than what we have ordered.

   This diner is equivalent to Greggs for South Indian food, specialising in traditional dishes such as Dosa, Idli, Uttapam, Vadas etc... I would say this is one of those few places which serves authentic Indian regional fare which hasn't been messed with to suit the western palate. Having said this, it also offers Indo-chinese dishes which are firm favourites.It looks and tastes as it should. It's fully vegetarian with an extensive menu choice. In fact it has numerous dishes which are suitable for vegans. They have an ala carte menu and also have a buffet service. I believe this branch in Reading is one of three. It was a lunch time visit and there were a fair few diners present. I had ordered uttapam topped with mixed vegetables which is like a pancake served with the usual sambhar, a coconut relish and some other relish. It was warm and spongy as you would expect and the sambhar was tasty and right consistency. I would say that the food is flavoursome, of reliably good standard and fairly priced. The service was friendly and attentive. It was clean and well lit. This restaurant is well located and easy to find. I have no hesitation recommending this place. Unfortunately, this restaurant has no disabled facilities which is a great shame and a negative point.

   The food here is very tasty and it's a great atmosphere in the restaurant which gives you a great experience of vegetarian Indian cuisine. I think the only negatives are that the food comes in stages even if ordered together and one of the dishes took around an hour. I would recommend the food though as it was lovely.
