shit delivery time, took 2 and a half hours to arrive. staff lie about how long it'll take. food is good but if you're planning on getting it, please go to them because they're useless on deliveries.
Wow, the best food ever. I've deleted my revious review from 4 years ago as it's not the same people (used to be bad). Now the food is mouth watering. Highly recommend . Always busy now. Well done peony house at oakwood.
One of the best Chinese food in Derby. Fast service, rich menu, food looks very fresh and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My new favourite chinese takeaway in Derby. This whole meal cost me £36.6 and it lasted for 2 days. So good value good portion. The Wandering Dragon is highly recommended. The only thing that I think could have been better is that the pepper was a bit overcooked.
First time takeaway today at Peony House for myself and wife. The man who served us was really friendly. We both enjoyed our food and will definitely be returning!
First time order as new to the area. Unfortunately I wouldn’t order again as I have never had a more bland tasteless Chinese. My king prawn sweet and sour balls were like prawns in dumplings whereas I am used to them in a crispy batter but again that’s my preference. The beef in black bean sauce meal tasted of nothing. Sorry, not for me however I can see others enjoy this restaurant so I wouldn’t want to put anyone else off!
Just picked up a take out from here as we are staying in a hotel close by. And my god it was the best Chinese me and my family have ever had. Girl that served me was lovely and my fella really enjoyed her recommendation
Ordered chicken curry, was convinced it was pork, however turned out to be dead fatty chicken, ate around this. Chicken balls (chicken ok, batter was horrible). Wouldn’t order again or recommend, waste of money, don’t bother.
Amazing !!! Always look forward to our food from here, clean, fresh food, friendly, never once been disappointed and I'm pretty hard to please.
