   Food absolutely awful! Ordered this evening (20th Sept) food arrived cold, tasteless, sauces thick like wallpaper paste, rice hard, chicken balls greasy and beef like rubber! Won’t ever go back!! Very disappointing as used to be good!

   Not ordered from here in a while, unfortunately for us, it wasn't good .. dry rice ,beef dishes like rubber. No one enjoyed it. Won't be re visiting.

   1st time trying tonight Very bad food very tasteless,dry and gloopy curry sauce and a very funny taste of the chicken like it has gone off the spare ribs were like rubber had to add my own soy sauce to the chowmein and even then it tasted bad I did ring and ask for a little bit of a refund as nothing apart from rice and spring rolls got eaten and they were unwilling to resolve the situation and told me there’s nothing they could do so if you don’t want to waste your hard earned money don’t bother ordering from this place.

   Had ordered yesterday with my boyfriend after I haven’t had food from peking house in ages. It wasn’t terrible but some chips were a bit hard making me think maybe there were reheated. Beef chow main was quite greasy and barely had any taste. We had chicken balls as well that were fine other than a little greasiness. This place used to be very nice but definitely has gone down. Probably won’t be ordering again

   It may not look much but fast friendly service and reliably high quality food make this my go-to Chinese takeaway and for me it's one of Derby's best. Good choice of Tofu dishes for Vegans/Veggies beyond the usual 'Mixed Veg' offerings and quality of meat be it Chicken, Pork, Beef or Duck is succulent and tender. Excellent allergy labelling on menu too. Kung Po Pork, Spare Ribs in Honey Sauce, Sweet & Sour Tofu Hong Kong style, (proper Chinese Chippy style) Chips, Plain Boiled Rice and 10 Mini Veg Spring Rolls for £25. Came with free Prawn Crackers and 5 Mini Veg Spring Rolls (which they had the honesty to point out when I ordered more).

   Had bbq spare ribs+ large egg fried rice, my partner who is vegetarian was unsure what to have,they prepared a dish for her ,she said it was lovely as was mine,can't fault this takeaway give it a go I'm sure you'll enjoy.
