Good food for reasonable price. I would come again to try the Nasi Goreng Pedas. The staff was very friendly and kind.
Maybe the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. Sweet and sour sauce is just sour. Rice is dry. Too much rice and not enough meat.
I first visited MyWok Reading in February 2024, then in October that year, and most recently in October 2025. This coincided with when I was attending events near Reading. One of my favourite meals is Pad Thai, and it did not disappoint here - to the extent that I have ordered it each time. The steamed gyozas are very tasty, and I’ve also tried the hot and spicy dish (a good amount of heat - even when cold - as I ate it the following day when travelling home) and the coconut chicken curry. This is my go to place for good portion size and tasty food when I’m in the area.
Great place to take out, almost regulars now. Parel serves me well and my family is almost all Vegan so very tricky order and always spot on. Thank you.
There's good and bad. Good is the flavour, bad is the price and the amount for your money. Will I go again? Maybe, but not really convinced, Paya is a better bet. Two stars is low for me, but it was just too expensive.
I am a vegetarian and have ordered food from mywok many times but this time I am very angry and disappointed. i ordered spice chiken vegan stayl and got spice chicken! I am bad that I bit the meat badly and I feel bad about it now. I recommend that you be careful if someone is a vegetarian or vegan!
Deeply unsatisfied with my delivery from here. The food wasn't bad, in terms of flavour and quality of ingredients. Not GREAT but not bad. However, for the ridiculous price the quality was not good enough and it certainly wasn't good enough for the low quantity. You just do not get enough for that sort of money. I attach an hilarious photo of the Chick Satay which is about 4cm long on each skewer. The fact that somebody there thought this was even remotely acceptable is shocking. Chow mien was also a bit greasy says one of my party.
