   The staff here were very welcoming and efficient, orders were taken and food was delivered quickly. The food was decent, not the best Thai food I've tasted, but enjoyable nonetheless, deserving of four stars. My problem is the fact they have false advertising in the window, I asked for the two course option that was displayed in the window, available between Tuesday-Saturday, but was told this is only available between Tuesday and Thursday (I visited on a Saturday). This was not a big issue as the prices are reasonable, however, it is clearly not okay to advertise a special offer in the window that is not actually available. If not for this, definitely deserving of four stars.

   Four of us called in for lunch and had a lovely meal. Everything that we tried was well presented and very tasty. Service was very friendly and we were not rushed even though we stayed a little after closing time. We would love to go back.

   In my personal experience (I have been to Thailand, North and South) with the Thai restaurants in the UK, this little place is up at the top. The mixed starters were the best I've experienced in the UK. Papaya salad was good, it could've been hotter. Other than that it was excellent in what is a humble Thai restaurant. Hoping to return soon.

   Delicious lunch from the set menu. Staff very friendly and welcoming. All food fresh and very tasty. Pad Thai with prawns pictured. Would definitely return!

   I was very happy with the food at Thai Orchid. Went right when it opened and I could hear them making my food in the back. Everything I had tasted fresh. I ordered, the Thai green curry, coconut rice and the pad thai with prawns. All tasted great. Slight wait but not too long. Was a little worried that I was the only one there but lots of people kept coming in for takeaway. Seems like a popular place. If I'm ever in Salisbury again I'd go back.

   Popped in for the lunch time two course special. Friendly staff, excellent food. I have eaten here before on an evening a few years ago and I would say the banquet was excellent value with so many different courses and flavours, but obviously the lunch was just a starter and a main. Even so, the food was really good. Not huge portions, as long as you take this into account, a great lunch venue. The banquet, now that is a lot of food to contend with!

   Arrived, first lunchtime customer and took a really slow 20 mins to order....felt ignored and had to call waiter over and then only half dishes delivered...partner had to wait another 5 mins while my food got cold...I ordered Pad Krapow and the dishes that was delivered bore no resemblance to this..... This dish should be minced pork and lots of Thai basil etc. There was none of that to be seen on the plate and what was there was very mild and tasteless...... This was a very disappointing lunch......
