   I’ve frequented the Paddock for as long as I can remember, but consistently a couple of times a month for the last 6 years or so. The guys are brilliant, the manager is lovely and always goes the extra mile! The bar staff are lovely and always chirpy, and it’s now great that there’s a personable service as they recognise me because I’m in there a fair bit. I love the food, it’s much better than other local hungry horses and remains consistent. I also love the pub quizzes they do too, they’re fun and the quizmaster is great! I recently went with my girl friends for a little Christmas meal which we had to pre book. It was lovely when we arrived that they had set the table up with Christmas crackers and such! And they had listened to all our special requests as one of my friends has dietary needs. So thank you Paddock for always being great! I will see you all soon lol ;)

   Amy and the team at the paddock couldn't do enough for us, we came for my daughters 5th birthday and the team were fantastic even bringing the cake out for my daughter and giving her a small soft toy when they knew it was her birthday, the food was also delicious and served very fast! would highly recommend

   I went last night for a meal as a party of four. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, catering to our needs - even had a laugh with them! I had a burger and i must say it was delicious. The other food looked stunning too. The atmosphere in the pub was great especially seeing the locals having a laugh with the bartenders. There is lots of parking space and a ramp to the entrance which is handy. They also had seating outside with a park for children, which would be nice in summer - will definitely be returning for a summers pub lunch. Great place, beautiful food with a friendly and efficient service - couldn’t ask for more! Would recommend to everyone.

   My family and I had a lovely time at The Paddock this evening. We were served by Kira, who couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. The food was fantastic, hot, tasty and the service was speedy. We all enjoyed our meals and they were all fantastic value for money. Definitely a lovely pub. Thanks to all the staff and particularly to Kira. Great experience. Thank you.

   Decent food and really good service only let down by the disabled access. The hill from the car park I think would be impossible for people in self-propel wheelchairs and inside there's a very inconvenient ramp to the bar area and loos. I couldn't be bothered to use it. Has really put me off the pub

   Modern pub with traditional architecture. There is a wide range of beers,wines and ales .Pool games & Darts play .Its the patrons and staff that are really amazing here with their friendliness and care. They make you feel like part of the pub family. One of the best and finest pubs in the UK.

   The food is okay but the service is horrible. I ordered the "breaded wholetail scampi" which had the image of a big fish right above the writing (as seen in the image) hoping that I will get what is shown in the image above the writing (as usually you put the image of a dish next to what the dish is. Instead I have been served with tiny fish that looked nothing like the image. When I told the waitress that what I received is not what I wanted, showing her the image and how I got confused by it, and if I could have my food changed (it still fell under the same price) she said that she won't because "that's what I ordered". Usually, in restaurants, they either pay you back or change your food of you're not happy with the food received, so why would it be a problem here? Yes, I know that the description of the dish says "10 scampi" but I assumed that the image matched the text so I just ordered what I saw. English is not my first language and I haven't eaten scampi before so I had no clue what it was. Even the people I was at the table with whose English is their first language got confused about the food just because of the image. My main complaint is about the service received and how the waitress doesn't care to help a customer if they're not happy with their food. So, in the end, I just had to eat some food that I didn't want just because I paid for it in advance and the waitress couldn't be bothered to change it.

   I've been to several Greene King / Hungry Horse venues, and this places rates amongst the best. Ordered mains, drinks and deserts by the app, and everything arrived in rapid time, cooked well, and was plentiful. The one thing that let it down was their slowness in clearing away the empty plates. Desert arrived and they were still there!! Aside from that, great, value place to visit, and ample car park.
