   A Similan Thai is a gem of a restaurant on Highcliffe high street. This was our second visit. My wife and I shared the mixed starter which we'd highly recommend - so many wonderful flavours! My wife followed it a vegetable and mushroom stir fry, while I chose by the Penang curry with tofu. The latter is not an option for the curries on the menu, but you just need to ask. It was very tasty and a generous portion, with plenty of tofu. We shared a jasmine rice and some plain noodles and the total food bill was under £50, so good value for authentic and tasty Thai food. We'll definitely be visiting again soon.

   We had a lovely authentic meal here this evening. Run by a lovely couple. Service was lovely and attentive without being too claustrophobic. The food was amazing. We had the Thai fish cakes and dumplings to start. Both were tasty sensations. Then, for main - mixed seafood and jungle curry, both spicy but not ridiculous, with Pad Thai and jasmine rice. Desert was banana fritas with homemade coconut ice cream with a Sauntern and Muscat. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

   Little gem of a restaurant in highcliffe, owners friendly and helpful with menu, food was good, chicken jungle curry and stir fry prawn with mushrooms plus vegetable side dishes all good washed down with Thai beer and wine.

   Absolutely lovely food, especially considering it was my first Thai food experience. Green Curry with beef sirloin and Thai vegetables, Chicken Stir-fry along with Jasmine rice. I definitely recommend this restaurant; lovely service and very welcoming.
