My partner and I absolutely adore river Kwai! We only found it last year after a friend recommended and we can’t get enough now! The team are super friendly and the food is incredible and flavoursome!
By far the best Thai food ever. Been going here for over 20 years. Nowhere else can match it. Love it.
Great food, great atmosphere and great prices! First time I've been here, but we really enjoyed it as a family! And we'll definitely be back again in the future! The chairs and tables are spaced out adequately which I like so we're not too close to anyone else! Staff are very friendly and polite!
Brilliant, the food was superb! The lady on the phone was really friendly (and it turned out we are neighbours too) , she just just made my day. We had delivery and the smell at the door was so overpowering, I knew straight away it won't disappoint, it was delicious! Thank you for delicious experience.

Pretty authentic Thai cuisine. Living in Thailand, I never expect too much when going to a Thai restaurant in the UK, and hardly ever do so. The River Kwai Restaurant in Alton was a pleasant surprise when I took my nephew there for a meal. The Thai meal I enjoyed was very well cooked by the Thai staff there. As expected, it was not as spicy as I'm used to, but additional 'prik nam pla' made it just right. Plenty of seating inside (quite close together), good, friendly service and reasonably priced, I would certainly return here for another meal.
