Situated on an estate near a busy roundabout intersection which provides good links to the East and West Midlands via the A50 and A38. This pub has ample parking space with good access for those with disabilities. On entry you greeted warmly by a member of staff and taken to your table. The establishment is best known for it's carvery. This was our choice of meal and admittedly, I have never found an establishment of this type whereby the selection of food was cooked to a good standard, normally one item makes the meal a disappointment, not in this case. There was a wide range of desserts, which you could takeaway if necessary and your table was cleared efficiently without feeling rushed. Toilets were clean, overall a very good experience.

We turned up on a Sunday lunch with no booking and it was very busy. However after a 20 minute wait we had a table. Used the app to order drinks and food, and then headed to the carvery. There was a 5 minute queue, but we'll worth it as the food was lovely. The deserts looked amazing, but we were too full to sample them

This is a lovely place. Great food and lots of room around tables. Service was brilliant and very quick. Absolutely a perfect place for a meal with small children. The farm shop is brimming with all lovely treats and more everyday veg. The butchery is superb and service was outstanding. The only slight downside was the food was a bit expensive but you get what you pay for, good service, polite staff. I would definitely come here again.

Absolutely amazing service, the chef John at the carvery was top tier! Could not have asked for better service from him, even gave my kids a serving to share of mash and veg and yorkie for free and brought it to the table himself! Delicious food. 10/10 would recommend. There’s also a play area for the kids which is great.

Great place for a Sunday Carvery! It was really busy so we were very glad we booked. We had to wait in line for a long time but the food was so lovely that I'm not surprised it's so popular. Good price for a carvery (even with the added surcharge on weekends) and great range of options for sides. I'll definitely be going again.

I do not recommend the vegetarian alternative for the carvery. The pies are either filled with potatoes or vegetables which are on the carvery anyway, meaning you get a large amount of pastry as an alternative to the meat! A quorn sausage/roast or nut/mushroom cutlet would have been nice. It would be better to just have the carvery without the meat unless you are a big fan of pastry. Cherry Tree is popular and very busy on Sundays. Staff are great and hard working.
