What an experience! New Manager Ishi is a delight and the restaurant spotless, welcoming. The many small touches: warm hospitality, traditional polite service, fresh flowers, resh lemon in the water, enchanting Indian chill-out music, quality candles, hot refreshing lemon towels, and even offer of complementary coffee) make for a truly charming "service with warm respect" experience. Now to the food - Only DIVINE cuts it. The creamy dishes were so creamy, the tomato dishes so flavourful, the garlic and herbs fresh, the naan soft, fluffy, fresh, dreamy. I don't often leave reviews, but This is Littleover's under-rated secret. The end.

Disappointed to say the least. Mushroom biryani bland, lamb gulbahar had a sweetness to it that took me by surprise. Madagascar dishes were ok. Had to wait for the Gulbahar, as it was missing from the initial bag. Wasn't aware of the management change until after the meal. Pretty sure we'll be looking for another place for our curries in the future. Which is a shame as we've enjoyed takeaways and eating in here for over 10 years. Just not our taste, may be ok for others.

Went for a meal a couple of months ago and I was absolutely appalled by the service and the food. Went home annoyed as I was expecting top notch service. However, I recently went for a meal again to try it out one last time with my friends as I thought Iβd give the restaurant the benefit of doubt. All I can say now is WOW!!. The restaurant is under new management and the food is absolutely amazing. The new owners and staff are a delight to talk to. The delivery driver himself speaks so politely and even asks if youβre okay. Everything about this place has changed. The food is 5/5. The service is 5/5. The atmosphere is 5/5

Had a table booking. Food was ok, nothing special to be honest. Service was appalling - table staff were leaning right across the front of diners to put things on the table, rather than moving to a more suitable place to access the tabletop; and having ordered a bottle of wine they brought a different one without saying anything, it was only when challenged on this that they said they didn't have that variety and allow us to chose another for ourselves. The venue just looked tired - seats had faux leather covering which was peeling; toilets looked like something from a working men's club (see photos).

The reasons I look forward to working in Derby, fresh, cooked well. Honestly one of the best Indians I've had.

I had my 50th birthday meal here last night and the food was amazing. Lovely friendly service. Nothing was to much trouble. Very clean and smart place to eat. Highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this place by pure chance and although it did look quite we thought we would give it a go. Most importantly the food was good, decent portions and good quality, the prices were very reasonable and the service was great. They even boxed up our leftovers so I could take it to work for lunch the next day. I would definitely return in future.

Had the most amazing Indian cuisine here. I went with my family and there were 6 of us. My wife is Indian and wanted the dishes cooked in the traditional style (Desi) and very spicy, the staff couldnβt do enough for us and nothing was to much trouble. We have lived in Derby for nearly 15 years and have desperately wanted a good Indian restaurant we could go to.. I can honestly say we have found that in Red Chilli. All the dishes were just how we requested it and we canβt wait to go back. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
