What a great night. Booked to have Christmas Dinner with 2 other friends, we use this pub regularly for our catch ups. Fantastic meal, plenty on the plate with a wide variety of vegetables. Also served nice and hot with extra gravy supplied. Throughly recommend this great place. Thank you to all the staff xx
Had Sunday lunch here today, never visited before but will certainly be returning! The food was really fresh and tasty, good selection of meats to choose from, excellent choice of vegetables and all served piping hot. Staff are very friendly and helpful and add to the warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

My friend and I booked a table for lunch but we had to wait quite a while before being served. I ordered steak to be medium but it was full of gristle and was more like well done. My friend had a pie with mash which was fine. I was very disappointed because the chef woukd have seen the amount of gristle in the steak before cooking it. It was a shame the pub was very busy which of course it should be at this time of year. I didn't pay for my steak but it spoilt what should have been a nice lunch with my friend
Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit, food was excellent, good menu with plenty of choice, staff very welcoming and helpful. Had rang to reserve a table in bar as we had a dog and 4 adults, all made very welcome with our furry companion.

Went in a party of fifteen for a meal. Everyone had starters and mains which were all excellent with no complaints. Everyone's courses came out pretty much at the same time so no-one was waiting. Great food and good value in a proper pub atmosphere.
