Hi, its been 2-3 times now I have noticed that when I order they don’t give fresh food you have to microwave it again even if you ask them to give hot food . Just today I have ordered some smosas and spring rolls and requested to give some hot but when I checked they were neither fresh nor hot even really dry that you can’t eat and the taste as well was disappointing. Will suggest others to go with some other options like other shops . thanks

This evening, I had the pleasure of dining out, and the entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional, making me feel genuinely welcomed. The food, without a doubt, was a culinary masterpiece—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with exquisite flavors. It was a truly memorable evening that surpassed all expectations.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Shahenshah Restaurant in Derby. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was perfect. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch that elevated the entire dining experience. What stood out most was the combination of outstanding service and delectable food, all offered at reasonable prices. It's no surprise that Shahenshah has been a beloved establishment in Derby for over long time. I wholeheartedly recommend Shahenshah to anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine paired with top-notch service. I look forward to returning soon!

Overpriced! Just for 2 curries and 5 Chappatis we paid £28. Just round the corner you can enjoy 2 curries with large Tandoori Nans and 2 drinks for £20. No dessert. No drinks. Absolutely extortionate and the curry was not very authentic. More suited to Anglo Saxon tastes.

Not bad food, bloke behind the counter was a bit moody. Good sweets.

Perfect place to buy Indian snacks - samosas, chaat, pakoras, etc. Very tasty. They do take away curries as well. Many options. Good to buy in bulk for the week lunches and dinners. Other snacks like wholewheat Jaggery biscuits worth trying. They also have all the Indian mithai and farsan.

Great authentic place for curries and sundries and sweets. We only tired the onion bahjis, veg samosa and veg pakora. And they were fantastic. Curries we had paneer chilli and a butter chicken and they were both fantastic. We had a large amount of everything as we were having a party. They were very accommodating even though we didn't pre order which we should of done thinking about it. But everyone asked where everything was from as they enjoyed it so much so thank you we will be returning
