Been here a few time both for takeaway and to eat in and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is always fantastic, and service is great. If you’re looking for a good Indian restaurant to visit in Burton then Mexbaans is well worth a go.
Wow! Absolutely wonderful meal, great little find in Burton, licensed as well. Wife had the Bengal Chicken with mushroom rice. I went vegetarian with the Channa Palak (Chick pea and spinach), with 2 chappattis. Both were mouthwatering and large portions. Wine was perfectly chilled to boot. Will be coming again and added advantage of having parking at the rear of the restaurant. Behind the Magnet showroom. Seemab is a journeyman waiter, attentive, without disrupting the flow of eating and makes good suggestions for alternatives. Will definitely be back!
Excellent restaurant, Sam (owner) is very friendly and welcoming, as are the other members of staff. Our favourite, go to Indian restaurant. Never disappoints, always fantastic food. The £10.95 eat in deal is particularly great and amazing value for money (Monday-Thursday and Sunday evenings).

First time I've been there, and I'm impressed. Service is excellent, food was also very tasty. Will happily eat there again. Only reason it's not a 5 star is because I'm a bit stingy with giving 5 star reviews as I believe it has to be exceptional for that. I'd highly recommend a visit though. Very nice indeed.
I find that you can usually judge an Indian restaurant by the standard of its pickle tray. The pickle tray at the Mezbaan was very good, as was my tasty starter and my very tasty main course. The staff are attentive and friendly. All in all, I was very impressed.
Was with a large group last night and was really disappointed with the service as was extremely slow, children in the group were made to wait until upto 90 mins to eat instead of being served first, The food is always very good here but service is not. If you go here on a weekend be prepared to wait. May I also add staff are always very friendly and helpful.
