My colleagues was at Bevs for afternoon tea. Bev was standoffish and not attentive. Food was nice but nothing special. We were told one complimentary hot drink then pay. Bev changed her mind and didn't charge us. We certainly won't recommend or return.
We ordered the special afternoon tea to be delivered for a family birthday and my goodness it was really special, beautifully presented on porcelain platters and all of the food was delicious. I would definitely use them again and recommend.
Wow this was fantastic. We had breakfast and most of the things incl sausages could be done gluten free as the chef is gf. He very kindly also supplied gf butteries/rowies even though they are usually advance order mail order only. They have gf bread for lunches, and likewise evening meals can mostly be gf. Such friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Really enjoyed breakfast at Bev's - had a super full cooked breakfast and my partner enjoyed Alan's amazing gluten free butteries with other GF options available. The coffee is super as well and really a very pleasant experience overall.
Had a private dining party at Bev's and it was lovely. The food was great and all tastes and dietary requirements catered for. Would recommend for sure!

After searching for a new place to try afternoon tea we came across Bev’s on social media. After looking through all of the amazing photos we thought we must give it a try! Definitely the best afternoon tea we have ever been to. We were extremely impressed at how fresh & locally produced the food was… highly recommend!
Went for afternoon tea. All of it was wrapped in clingfilm which was a bit odd. Food was really lovely and there were tons of it but service was a bit bizarre. Felt quite intrusive and at times, rude. Expensive
The food lived up to the reviews I read before booking. Bev was so gracious and kind when I embarrassingly realised I had only booked for five people. She quickly arranged two more platters, which is no mean feat as Bev makes everything from scratch. Thanks Bev for such a lovely afternoon lunch and for putting up with my scattyness!
