Total dissatisfaction on the new move to inside a nightclub. Loved it at the triangle , went many times. Great atmosphere that represents south America with hot food. 2 things here. I'm a chef and have been for 38 years, also lived in Mexico for 20 years of those. New premises is right at the back of a nightclub and need to dodge many dancers to get to the entrance.... Then got taken to a table for two in what I'd described as a black out shoebox....sat alongside fire doors which is actually illegal ,with black felt stapled to cover them we could feel the 15 mph wind coming through the gaps but more distressing was the sound of the nightclub banging out tunes in my left ear and the Spotify list of the restaurant in my right ear , (again no Latin tunes) server then came, told to wait coz of a private function in another room , so sat looking for something to remind me of south America, I found nothing but a tacky backlit desert mountain picture...food came , ordered 6 tacos which were not even warm , and the patata bravas must be from Iceland! Salad was a lil lettuce and pomegranate, shocking . will never recommend ever again, my views : Place : Dirty and dull . South American Atmosphere : None . Food quality : 2/5 Servers attention : not there. Value for money : robbed They need to sort it out quick as I'm sure the previous customers from triangle will be feeling the same. Sorry to have had to state the above really .It's the first time I have ever left a post too. So shows how disappointed we were.

Was a quieter evening when we went. Service was good and everything came within a reasonable time. The atmosphere was still lovely and the lady that served us was so amazing and friendly!! The corn ribs were the BEST, honestly wasnβt expecting them to be so good but they were one of our favourites. Would recommend!!

Came here for dinner on a visit to Bournemouth, it's a great cool spot, staff were polite and friendly from the point we arrived to when we left, good choice of dishes, everything tasted great, and the happy hour cocktails were also fantastic! Well worth a visit if you're in the area, not one to be missed!

Really wanted to love this place. I love mexican food and tapas and this place looked amazing. Unfortunately my high expectations were too high. Half of of the food we had was very bland and some of it was very small. We did like the duck, the chorizo and potatoes though. We'd only order these if we went again We tried 2 of your cocktails and they we really bitter. they're a different type of cocktail compared to most other places. They look amazing but they're very marmite Service was a mixed bag. The Swedish/European guy was amazing but the other guy with the dark hair wasn't. We had to ask him twice for some garlic sauce and didn't know how to process out gift card

Came here two days in a row! The Thursday night offer was brilliant, and we returned with friends on Friday. Staff were all friendly - they managed to squeeze us in without a booking the Thursday evening, we just had to wait at the bar for a short while, and we booked for Friday - accommodating our request for an accessible table. The food is excellent - one of the best Mexicans I have had! Only downside is itβs so far from home! We will be back when we visit again.

Great place, great atmosphere, great music, great food and even greater service! Everyone was wonderful and eager to make a solo hungry customer feel like home. Massive shout out to Nathan and Kate for their vibe and hospitality!

Wednesday quiz night is good fun but the food is nothing to get excited about. There was a cold draft running past our table which was distracting. Service was good!

I donβt recommend if youβre in large groups. We did the reservation for 11 and when we arrived there, they strongly asked for us to take the tasting menu because is what they do for large groups (and no, there were nothing the in the reservation about it). We felt that we had no choice and accepted. The tasting menu was 25 pounds per person. We would have spent less than that, and I would probably enjoyed more the place. We had no way to choose anything. They served: 3 nachos with cheese (it was ok), 2 hummus (it was ok), 12 pork mini taco (I donβt eat pork), 12 shrimp mini taco (it was good), 2 chicken wings portions (it was terrible), 2 salads (I didnβt eat) and 2 churros (I donβt like cinnamon). Maybe for some itβs worth it, but for me itβs definitely not. My personal experience was that I left the restaurant hungry.

Great cozy atmosphere, super friendly staff and incredible Mexican food! This was one of the most welcoming and delicious meals I have had in a long time! There is such a great choice of options on the menu and with it all being tapas you simply order lots of small dishes and then share between your party! I highly recommend the chicken wings and Sriracha Shrimp tacos! Staff were very friendly and very welcoming and explained everything; being my first time at Ojo Rojo, really made me feel very much at home! Would definitely visit again and was honestly one of the best meals Iβve had in a while. Superb.
