It’s a takeaway only. In the Window they display a Food Standards Agency rating of 5 (the top rating). Their actual rating however is only a 3 as per the FSA website. Maybe an honest mistake or are they deliberately trying to mislead people. Food is very average. Won’t be going back.

My cousin recommended this restaurant to me so I had high expectations. Most of what we ordered was good but I was surprised and disappointed in the Prawn Toast, Prawn crackers and the Chicken balls. Those three items we over cooked and just about inedible. If I was staying closer I would’ve taken everything back. With what I’ve read I’m really surprised.

Ordered at 7:30 said would be ready at 8:15 not given ready to 21:06. Completely unable to calculate cooking time as kept saying it will be ready in 2o minutes. Awful customer service will not use them again.

Worst Chinese takeaway We’ve ever had in Thatcham, even elsewhere for that matter. Our standards aren’t even that high, it’s just got to be worth the money. Now here’s what made the Food so p-poor; As a heads up The menu names / description of food is not quite what you expect, Dish 1: Singapore Noodles; absolutely no flavour what so ever, it’s more akin to plain noodles. No veg either. Was pale, no veg, stodgy, minimal meat. Dish 2: Satay Chicken: watery unflavoured sauce, peppers, and possible Chicken or Tofu chunks. If it is Chicken then it’s been sat in Bi-carb of soda for too long and it’s gone to mush. Dish 3: Egg Foo Yung, probably the best dish out the lot; but it’s essentially an omelette with cornflour mixed in. Even a junior school kid can get this right. Still lacked any form of flavour / the chicken in this again had terrible texture and taste. Shrimp have a metallic taste, which is off putting. Dish. 4: ”Prawn” toast, highly doubt this was prawn or any crustacean by any stretch. I don’t even expect prawns typically, but this was so far from any sort of meat I’m genuinely curious as to what they put in it to get it so dense, chewy, dry, and bland. Dish 5: Egg Fried Rice, the must have used up all the eggs doing the Foo Yung because there weren’t any in this. I can’t be bothered to write the rest of the review, you get the gist. Absolute rubbish. If you’ve got that hankering for a typical British Chinese Takeaway then I’d head on over to Chop Suey House at least, or even Waitrose probably has a better selection than this place. One last bit, you would have thought the spring rolls were okay, because they come frozen, right? Think again. But it’s alright they gave us a Free Dr Pepper, it’s all forgiven.

Food was really tasty, had nothing to complain about. First time ordering today, food was ready to collect in 10min. Everything was piping hot when I got home and food was not super greasy like some restaurants. Tasty food and super nice lady at the entrance.

Great food (especially the spring rolls) me and my mates order here all the time for how reliable they are, and the food is always ready within half an hour, which is how long it takes to walk down there from our house anyway. Been going here for years and can highly recommend.

Excellent service and food, had a little longer wait than the time given but I guess for good food you can expect a delay and it was definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend this takeaway.

I ordered the takeaway yesterday evening. I Ordered on line and was given a collection time of 7.02 pm. I arrived on time and had to wait 35 mins. I hoped the wait would have been worth it. Unfortunately it was not. The food was disgusting. The prawn toasts were very soggy. The dishes with chicken did not look, taste or have the texture of chicken. It basically was all very unpleasant. I usually order from another company in Thatcham who unfortunately were closed. I can honestly say I will never go back there.

Used to be good a year back. Don't know what happened to it but our take out on Friday was genuinely the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Cheap chicken and meat in all dishes, mushy something in batter, watery sauces. Just terrible. Avoid!
