   We've been going for years, but last night's food was just wow. The seafood platter I could of eaten twice, we always have too much food as the potions are rammed in their containers, even though I could not of eaten more , I endeavoured to finish . Peng

   Food not as good as it used to be here in the past. Many dishes and sauces were lacking flavour, quite bland. Also noticed its only 3 star hygiene rating. Needs to do better.

   I've been using this Chinese for many years now and I've had no problems. The food is very tasty. It's reasonably priced. The staff are very pleasant. And the delivery service has been great. I've also been to their shop a few times and it's clean and tidy. Well done Evergreen Garden ... you're doing a good job and I'm a very happy customer.

   I’m really sad to be writing this because I usually love this takeaway but I found a wire of some sort in my food. I cannot understand why it would be in there at all. It’s not only unhygienic but also dangerous. Just disgusting really. When we spoke to the restaurant the owner said to email the photo of the wire to their insurance company but wouldn't tell us who the insurance company was. This was an over £50 order and we have not been compensated for this at all despite us not being able to eat the food.

   Good food and quick service. However, i gave 3 stars because it was cash only and didn't find out until i got there. Clearer notification is needed on the website. So if you're going in the shop for an after work treat, make sure you have some cash on you...

   The place you trust and order all the time lets you down and absolutely does not care. Received off food, whole order was inedible. Reported to just eat and straight to Evergreen. No response, no care whatsoever. Will never order again. Someone could be really ill after food like that.

   Awful. The smallest portion I have ever been served anywhere ever...... not even enough sweet and sour to cover the extremely tough chicken..... not to mention the super-salty beef and chicken wings which were basically deep fried from Iceland.... if you think this is good food you really should get out more.... never again......

   Last night's takeaway was amazing! The prawn toast in the starter, perfect. The ribs, perfect, the spring rolls, extra crunchy and by far the best I'd ever had. The chili chicken main was incredible. You guys are by far the best Chinese takeaway in Derby and probably the whole of the Midlands. You deserve more credit, the extra steps you go to do not go Unnoticed because I recommend you to pretty much everyone. PLEASE keep up the great food and don't let the standards slip.
