Avoid! My son found small pieces of wire (twisted together) in his chow mein . When we returned it we were told it was part of the scourer used for washing up and the pan they used had not been cleaned properly. I was refunded in cash for that dish only. I feel like ringing food hygiene inspectors.

On holiday and thought we would try here. Ordered salt pepper chicken, tiny portion with no vegetables very bland. Then had special chow mein, no taste at all & was an unusual bright pink in colour. See pic. That went in bin & toast for tea it was. Overpriced & guy serving has no manners. Don’t waste your money.

Had a recommendation to try this Chinese out and just utterly disappointed. Rarely feel compelled to leave a negative review but feel the need. The Singapore vermacelli was burnt and tasted like ash (assume the pan had something previously burnt in it?), which sadly overpowered any flavour and was inedible, the spare ribs were so sparse of meat there was nothing to really nibble on. The beef kung po was nice but the tub was perhaps 1/3rd full. Egg fried rice tasted reheated and v dry. Finally the chips were just beyond overdone. I know we're living in hard times, but surely this means quality should remain even if quantity decreases or price increases? We called to provide feedback and we asked to at least have a refunded vermacelli, they obliged but they couldn't refund over the phone and that negated spending 25 minutes in the car / fuel cost on a round trip for £7 odd.

I went in as an awkward customer asking for help with working out what I could eat with my allergy! The man was extremely helpful and really patient and kind. I was nervous about going in to ask but he was so lovely. And the food is delicious!! Very fresh and tasty.

Had a chicken chop suey ,chicken chow mien and chicken with cashew nuts the bean sprouts in the chop suey tasted moldy and you needed a magnifying glass to find any chicken very poor would not use them again

Excellent place and good food. I have been going here off and on for around 45 years and you always get a good meal served quickly. There is a money plant at the front of the shop that I swear is older than myself and has been an ever present feature since I first went in the place aged 16. Long may it continue.

Generally the food is of high quality here. Each dish is made from good quality ingredients and a substantial amount. Unfortunately this week I ordered Kong po beef and the tub was only half full. The food was fresh and tasty but the portion size was inconsistent ...its never greasy and the beef/meat is never fatty. Generally good all round....
