Battle of Britain experience Well worth the drive down from Lanchashire to Peterborough for this flight. Called off the first 2 attempts due to inclement weather, but this can't be helped as safety must come first, the T6 team were very amenable working with me to book in alternative dates and times. I was also given a very extensive walk around and talk about the Wacky Wabbit by the pilot as to not have wasted the trip. 3rd time was the charm and the experience was absolutely superb. The pilots and ground crew are all very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Wabbit is a phenomenal aircraft - just sitting in the cockpit as the engine fires up was fun enough, the flight itself was superb. Aerobatics and the chance to control the plane, with amazing views. Highly recommend to any warbird enthusiasts

All I can is just wow, what an incredible flying experience I had yesterday in the Wacky Wabbit. A day to remember forever, from start to finish the staff, ground crew and pilots were so friendly and welcoming, explained everything in detail and made the experience so good that words don't do it justice. If you are in to planes then this experience is a must. Flying aerobatic manoeuvres was unbelievable and really brought it home what our brave pilots have been through in the past, very sobering indeed. Thanks to the Wacky Wabbit team and keep up the incredible work you do to keep this plane flying for all to enjoy.

After a safety briefing and a walkaround, you’re strapped into the tandem cockpit, usually with the pilot giving you an informative commentary over the headset. Once airborne, the Harvard truly comes alive. The roar of the radial engine, the responsiveness of the controls, and the wide canopy views make for a sensory-rich ride. Many providers allow you to take control mid-flight (under close supervision), and if you’re feeling brave, some even perform basic aerobatic manoeuvres—gentle loops, rolls, and wingovers that will leave your stomach and spirit equally. My pilot for my session was Peter he made it a truly realistic experience. Thanks again. Rod Stocks

What an absolutely fantastic day. From arriving we were made to feel welcome, the staff were lovely. We were looked after by all, from the groundsmen to the pilots. Even the owner had a lengthy chat with us. I booked the experience for my partners birthday, and he was absolutely blown away, I would definitely upgrade to the Battle of Britain experience. Nick was our pilot on the day, commercial pilot for a major airline in his normal working week, and then for his ‘hobby’ he makes dreams happen, with the rest of his colleagues at the warbird airfield. I would recommend if you do book to do it via their website. And not via a third party. Keep doing what you are doing chaps, it’s amazing how you are keeping an important part of history alive, I wish you the all the success and hope to visit you again in the future.

Im a big aviation and history buff so the T6 experience was right up my alley. It's a super affordable warbird experience and will not disappoint. Having previously flown in a Tiger Moth this was a logical step up in my aviation experiences. Adam, Andy and Kevin were super nice and clearly loved what they do. They imparted their knowledge and answered all my annoying questions. Lots of info over the headset as we taxied and got airborne. I was allowed to take the controls and get a feel for the aircraft turning and leveling out. Then Adam took back the controls and demonstrated some evasive maneuvers, pulling upward of 3G's. Its all for the senses flying in a machine such as the Harvard. I'll be back for the Battle of Britain experience soon!

I was given a flight for a Birthday present, could not believe that I had the chance to go flying in a Harvard I even got to use the controls. The take off and landing was just perfect, smiling from start to finish. I. Would recommend this to anyone. What History in that aircraft.Everyone should have a go.

Battle of Britain Experience - highly recommended. A Fantastic exhilarating day and flight with the Wacky Wabbit team on April 9th. Professional, informal and friendly - a perfect combination. Conington airfield is also a great and welcoming location to fly from. My pilot, David Petters, was excellent and very reassuring as he demonstrated the key Battle of Britain manoeuvres. The cockpit video is also a brilliant memento, A wide grin and a big thumbs up from me for the whole team.

Having attended multiple experience days, I can honestly say this is one of the best yet! I’m an adrenaline junkie and I love fast moving cars so when I chanced upon a T6 flying experience, I went ahead and gave it a try. It was so worth it! I thoroughly enjoyed the 30mins flight. It felt like I was in a Top Gun movie!!! They also have a welcoming & efficient team so that made the experience smooth from start to finish. Thanks to Andrew, Donny, and Tim! Now I get to keep a video of me spinning around in a T6! Once in a lifetime experience!
