Absolutely Incredible. I went here last summer and have thought about it ever since, the food, the atmosphere, the kind, caring staff, the food, the hard working chefs, the food!! The atmosphere was absolutely charming, it was small, but in the most cosiest and comfortable way, I could truly tell everybody was enjoying their food when I looked around. There was lovely Turkish music playing in the background at a good and enjoyable volume. It was beautifully decorated and hands down THE BEST Turkish restaurant I have ever been to. This is most certainly a restuarant for all group sizes, for couples, small and big families and groups! It is also a kid - friendly restuarant. There is an open kitchen with 2 wonderful female chefs, who are absolutely on the top of their game, so hardworking and skillful, which is so great to see! The smells coming from the open kitchen were absolutely delicious, but not overpowering. The staff are so genuine and caring, they were so warm and welcoming from the minute we walked through the door, to ordering and to leaving. It just added to the homely and communal atmosphere. Now to the best part, the food. The food was sensational. For our starter we received the warm bread with a well seasoned, fresh salad with 2 dipped sauces, that came with our main (some menu items come with this), it was DELICIOUS and not even the main course, the bread was not heavy, but light, crispy and fluffy, and the dipping sauces where a burst of flavour. I ordered a grilled seabass, and it came with white rice and a thin flatbread underneath it which soaked up all the wonderful flavours of the fish, the seabass was so well seasoned, well marinated and grilled, and had a crispy skin, tender fish, and the portion size was very generous, I have never had a better seabass, and seabass is my go-to order to any restuarant that has it, I would absolutely come back for this again, it was around £15 - £20 and worth every penny for such a large and tasty fish! I also ordered crispy fried calamari with a delicious tar tar sauce. My friend ordered a ribeye that they said was cooked to perfection, this also came with a thin flatbread underneath that was juicy, warm and flavoursome due to the meat. I would come all the way back to Bournemouth just to eat at Saray again! And I will! I came straight back the next day to try the chicken kanat, and it did not dissapoint, it was so tender, flavoursome, grilled to absolute perfection and once again a generous portion size and light thin flatbread underneath. Unfortunately they didn't have baklava available, but I'm sure it would have been delicious. Not to mention that there was a very short wait for the food! It came at the perfect time. Additionally, the bathrooms were exceptionally clean! There was even a touchscreen light you could turn on and off at the mirrors! I left feeling full and more than satisfied. If you want 10/10 hearty, fresh, flavoursome food, and a warm, charming atmosphere when you're in Bournmouth, come to Saray!!

This is the closest I’ve ever come to a restaurant in England tasting genuinely like Turkey. Delicious sharing platter for two, exceptionally clean and good value for money with generous portions. I'm also appreciative that they were able to provide a highchair for my baby.

Excellent meal while visiting Bournemouth. Stumbled across this restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat for dinner. Glad we did! We ordered the deal for two meal for £49 which was amazing, so much food, and included a bottle of house wine. Our meal included a mixed starter, two mains and a dessert to share. Everything was superb, very tasty and generous portions. Will definitely visit again if back in Bournemouth.

We were highly recommended to come here by a friend (Kem), we came here yesterday with a group of 8 people. We ordered the shared cold starters between 8 of us and 2 shared mixed grill platters which came at separate times to each other unfortunately, however the quality of food was phenomenal and we even had free Turkish tea at the end. We will be back.

I work next door to Saray, and I can honestly say it's the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been too. The service is second to none and I have never left disappointed ever. This is the first place I would recommend for cleanliness, great food, unbeatable service. Thankyou Saray team x
