   I absolutely loved this shop until last week. I will never go in here again. I purchased a cushion from them in September and loved it. A couple of weeks ago it started to split at the seams so I took it back. Firstly the woman said I needed my receipt which I didn’t have but as it was a faulty item I felt they would help me. I didn’t want my money back, just an exchange. So I said I didn’t have the receipt and she said she’d need proof I bought it there as “you could’ve got it anywhere and nobody else has bought one of those back”. I asked if I could get my bank statement up on my banking app and she said yes. It took me a while but I found it. I showed the the transaction and she first said ‘that’s more than a month ago’ and then she said she needed a print out of my bank statement. Excuse me!? I am not printing out my bank statement for them. I showed her the proof. I’m sure that breaks some kind of policy. How do I know my details will be safe? Have they ever heard of GDPR? I walked out of there with a faulty cushion and nothing else. I loved seeing things in that window and popping in to buy them. I won’t be going in anymore and I’ll be telling others not to also. I was absolutely shocked at the lack of customer care that she provided. I don’t know if she was the owner, manager or a shop assistant but she really was the cause of losing a few customers that day.

   Our school had a fashion show fundraiser last night and Kit & Caboodle kindly lent us about twenty outfits for the children to model. The clothes were gorgeous and fun and the children were so happy wearing them! It is the generosity and support of local businesses, like Kit & Caboodle that make living in the Romsey area such a treat. Thank you for supporting the area schools, Kit & Caboodle!!!
