Lovely shop with lots of great books and toys and staff are freindly and the little cafe portion is anice addition too
Stopped for a coffee yesterday. Nice wee coffee shop at the front of the main store. Staff very friendly. The toy shop upstairs is still as amazing a place as it was 40 years ago when my grandma would take me there. Well done to the owners for keeping such a traditional, well stocked toy shop going. If you have wee ones I recommend a visit.
Friendly greeting and they waited patiently while I decided what to eat. Sat in for the Evening Express which was a toasted bagel with roast chicken, red onion and bbq sauce. Came with a side of crisps. Sat for a minute to let it cool as the cheese appeared melted and overheard the staff discussing a night out and her brothers inappropriate behaviour with some juicy language. Then picked up and bit into a cold sandwich… not sure if that was the way it was supposed to be as parts of it were warm but the chicken was cold. Not impressive but I’m willing to give it a second try. I feel the sandwich would have been good heated through.
Great selection and unlike many newsagents these days it sells a large variety of relevant papers and magazines. Especially good for farming and machinery reading material.
Lovely little coffee shop in shop and lots of lovely gift ideas as well as a great little toy shop for youngsters

A lovely independent family run business with the best selection of design-led greetings cards in Aberdeenshire! It’s a must visit for special Christmas cards and special occasion cards throughout the year. I have bought many a special gift from the gift department too, which were all very well received. You always get a warm and friendly welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble. A must visit shop when in Inverurie!
