    Had a great experience earlier today with the manager Lloyd. Had a faulty item exchange query, and although he had to let me down slightly as they didn't have a replacement in stock, he handled the whole thing with empathy, gauged the rapport and riffed off me with some humour. GREAT at his job, a real show of people skills in a potentially awkward scenario. He ordered me the item in next day and set up text notifications for me and I left feeling satisfied and happy.

    Ordered a freezer 6 days ago and was given a delivery date of today. Received sms last night saying delivery between 0630 and 0830 this morning. Nothing delivered and when Argos contacted through a useless chat app, I was told that no stock! What sort of system are they using? Allows you to order, takes your money, tells you they are delivering and then suddenly no stock....... Can't believe how useless customer service has become in our country. Finished with Argos.

    Can’t return items because of the box it came in was torn. Dreadful customer service pursuing a complaint but not holding my breath. Sharon was particularly unhelpful.

    I have previously always received first class service at this store, however today I must say I encountered two of the rudest staff I have ever met. One wouldn't even acknowledge my presence and the other blamed me for standing in the wrong place. I was collecting and stood at the counter marked collections. I will be using another branch in future and advising everyone else to do the same.

    I am very embarrassed turned up at this Argos to return a faulty item under Argos care. Was openly laughed at by the 2 assistants, one older lady with short hair and another lady with long black hair...i had to ask them what was so funny, then the older lady told me because i had not returned the accessories that came with the steamer (they are used and dirty bits of plastic) she couldn't replace it anyway and told me to return with them or Argos would not get their money back. I left and cried as felt so humiliated. Customer service at its worse and so bad i came home and decided to go to another store where hopefully they dont laugh at their customers....so rude

    Great brand, poor service, placed an order for click & collect. As the payment went through the order was cancelled by Argos without a reason. Called the branch phone number, after a long wait got through, only to be put through to allegedly click & collect dept, which rang and rang and rang but, no answer! Just wasted my time!! For no apparent reason or explanation. I gave up in the end!!

    Wonderful customer service from Gavin. While searching for a pressure washer he was able to make a fantastic good value recommendation and really went out of his way to engage with us. I will definitely be shopping at this branch again.
