   Have been ordering on Deliveroo for some time, always been great. Went in to eat for the first time last week and was a great experience. Staff were kind, tables and toilets were clean, and as expected, food is even better in person. Always love their gyros wraps and halloumi. The couple of times I've had souvlaki skewers they've been great too. Nice touch having Loux (a Greek soft drink) and a dessert cabinet filled with Greek style cakes and pastries.

   Just went here to pick up some food before I went home. I have to say the staff are amazing I was reserved by a young woman who was incredibly helpful and allowed on the menu, as I didn't want to have chips or pita bread. I also like the fact that they had lots of stuff on which meant that food got served really quickly and then he extra requests were dealt with promptly. It's a shame they don't serve rice but I understand from speaking to the owner in the summer the reasons why. It's great to support a local business rather than those awful high Street chain places. Food is freshly cooked, and really nice. Being a foodie, I would prefer black olives in the Greek salad, and I think the Tzatziki, should have some mint, dill and lemon in it - but that's just me! Cannot fault the price at all, excellent value. And a great place to go to if you want food served quickly, without all the unhealthy stodge. A great local Basingstoke business to support!

   Fantastic and very tasty Greek food. The best greek salad I've had outside of Greece and been back 2 nights running while visiting the hospital in the area for it. The Gyro wraps And souvlaki wraps were both spot on and the feta and spinach pie was great. Nice selection of ice-cream and deserts and greek beers too. Good decor..Greek music..and a lovely casual setting. Happy friendly staff. Prices are good too. A great place and highly recommended. Update. Still as good and lovely staff...I live in North Devon but this is my go to whenever I'm up as of now. The greek salad is still awesome ! Cheers

   Good quality of meat, lovely wrap but less deep fried the fries, please. Too dark and it doesn’t make the wrap pleasant. Oil fryer needs to be changed regularly in order to serve very good quality.

   Ordered via delivery after multiple recommendations and honestly can see the hype. Food arrived very quickly, still warm and nicely packed. Portions were way more than generous. Fresh vegetables, tasty meat and mouth watering sauce/dip. Their prices are more than reasonable. Will be more than happy to order again!

   We took our young children here (5 and 3) this evening for them to have sausage and chips and so we could have a convenient and tasty meal. Husband and I had the pork gyros which was delicious and the portion sizes were great. The kids loved the gelato for pudding. The staff were so patient and kind to the girls - even turning up some music for them to have a little disco. It was much appreciated, thank you

   We booked in for the valentines special last night. It was nothing short of superb! GS is our favorite place to eat in Basingstoke and they deliver Greek food that is authentic and delicious. I know this having visited no less than 14 Greek destinations over the years. This was their first restaurant style dining themed night and it was brilliant, we only hope that they continue to do more table bookings and nights like this. Food was it’s usual high quality and excellent value for money (although this was probably an introductory rate). There was so much food we had to box it up and I’m having it for dinner again tonight. Greek wine and beer were an excellent addition to the meal and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was perfect. The new décor looks on brand and is now much more inviting. What often attracts me to Greek cuisine and restaurants is the atmosphere with a warm and friendly welcome and this is exactly what Greek Street have nailed. It makes me want to book up a holiday to Greece right away, in fact I’m already browsing. If I was an investor I would be backing this brand due to the owners passion and her teams dedication and efficiency. There's no denying that this is the best new business to come Basingstoke, it even launched in Chineham during the pandemic and has since launched a second restaurant on the other side of town! On a final note, the owner makes all of the cakes and desserts herself and she is right to be proud of her creation, both food and business. Keep up the hard work. P.S. I would love to one day see how well the restaurant could deliver other Greek meals like kleftiko, moussaka, dolmades and my favourite saganaki. That said it’s brilliant as it is.
