What a wonderful experience, excellent in every possible way. Food was brilliant and the staff were kind and very helpful. If I could make babies with a restaurant I would chose this place and not divorce. Ever!!! I will be back and I will tell everyone how much I enjoyed the food 100009 rating out of 10
Where do I start, for the 4 of us, 2 shared the hot and cold mezze platter and 2 of us got kebabs and dived into the platter as well, 1 chicken kebab and 1 chicken and lamb mixed kebab! Everything tasted absolutely delicious and there wasn’t one thing on the table that I disliked and I tried almost everything! Then for dessert as we were so full 3 of us shared this chocolate velvet cake that tasted FANTASTIC!! The perfect way to end the meal. The pricing was fair and the staff were so polite and charismatic, making our evening even more enjoyable than the food already did! Will definitely be returning ❤️
A massive thank you to Lade Kitchen Newbury for managing to accommodate a large group on very short notice. After being let down by another restaurant in Newbury, I was left struggling to find a table for a large group the day before my event and am so thankful for the staff at Lade Kitchen for managing to fit in our large group and make our evening so enjoyable! The food was great, the cocktails were amazing and the staff and service provided was fantastic! The whole restaurant had a great atmosphere and all my clients had a brilliant night! The other restaurant could definitely learn a thing or two about customer service from Lade Newbury!!! Once again, a massive thank you to the staff at Lade Newbury for saving our night!
We booked a table online based on reviews and photos. We had a friendly welcome for a 6.30pm midweek booking. Only one other couple eating in the restaurant. The food was plentiful and on the most part tasty. The lamb of my kebab was tough and grisly. The chicken was nice but the knife wasn't up to cutting the meat. Not once were we approached to ask if everything was ok! The toilets weren't very clean. The whole place could do with a good dusting! I won't be returning. Sorry.
Absolutely lovely restaurant! All staff was very polite, great service and delicious food. I would only suggest to add all drinks menu online as well. It was a lovely surprise to find out that there was Raki on the drinks menu.
Good food, feels authentic and impressive choice. However, things like hummus and cacik should come with the platters etc. Also, the wait was extraordinary. Seated 7.30, order taken 8.10, food 9.10. In fairness they did address this with olives and bread during the delay. This was a Saturday night. We have been midweek and it was fine then.
