Always tables spare, wonderful staff, food portions plentiful. Just waiting to see where they will be moving to when Kennet Centre closes early 2026 Downside for me with hearing aid they always have music playing sometimes to loud.

Not a bad place for a brunch. Good selection of coffees but why their staff can never understand foreign accents?

We recently went to Boswells, All staff were dressed in Halloween costumes, very polite and great atmosphere. All worked together to give best experience for customers. Service with a smile. Good food and a great service. Thank you.

My partner and I have dined here for breakfast lots of time and everything time, the service was great. However, today, the fried eggs were still raw on top, the bacon and the beans were cold...I did not want to complain to the staff, maybe I should have. It was not a happy experience. I doubt I will be coming back soon.

Used to be my fav restaurant but I agree with some of the other comments, changing staff from better to worse. The breakfast was one of the best in town now it’s average at best. Chef can’t cook porridge to save there life. One breakfast I ordered some additions to find three separate side dishes with my order not on the same plate. I also agree with the jacket potato comment. I expect a decent salad snd decent filling. Instead of the usual larger plate before the changes snd nice salad of coleslaw lettuce, carrot etc, two salad leaves and two tomatoes. The filling about one table spoon of chilli if you were lucky. On a whole the food is bland which never used to be the case. As a chef for eight years the standard of most restaurants when it comes to food has notably dropped which is a shame.

Food was very tasty fir the price. A great selection of lacto free milks. Soya milk is available at no extra charge, other alternatives were 50 pence extra. Fair warning ⚠️ a regular coffee is very full and very heavy so if you have any tremors or pain etc issues ( I do), might be worth asking for a take away cup. Staff were also very polite and very helpful absolutely no issue asking for no butter etc. Also I was able to move around with plenty of space even with a walking stick.

I am aware that this establishment is a popular place among its regulars. This was my first time here, had a Chilli and Cheese Jacket Potato, a good size Spud but the fillings were a bit of a disappointment, quick service ( I was still waiting to pay for it, with two other customers ahead of me). Not really tempted to return.

Breakfast was awesome.... BUT extremely hot egg... burnt my mouth. But staff was very pleasant... located right next to TK Max on the ground floor and reasonable priced on eat in. Takeaway was not good price in my view... charged 2.65 for a medium black coffee which is think is ridiculous. But taste wise the place is good... staff wise great... it's the prices that you should assess yourself... and careful of the food temperature.
