   I attended this cafe on Tuesday 25th November.I enquired about whether they served gluten free food specifically gluten free bread .I was somewhat shocked to be informed that they did not .Bearing in mind I was actually in a large store belonging to a national top end supermarket which I know stocks gluten free bread and other GF items .Gluten allergy/insensitivty /celiac is now a common condition and it appears Waitrose cafes have some catching up to do ……on this basis I have awarded 1star, Not a great advert for your brand .

   Why does it always take so long to be served in this cafe? The staff seem to be unsure what they are doing. Our most recent visited resulted in a 40 minute wait for a bacon roll. When it was finally delivered we received no communication, it was just dumped on the table. Really poor, bring back Costa, at least they smile

   Very poor from Waitrose once again. Not what you would have ever expected. What was an incredibly thriving good Cafe with a very high standard has become a constant let down over a very long period of time. Time & time again its "the dishwasher has broken" or "we don't have enough staff" or something else. Which is understandable every now & then but it's like that more often that not... Instead of thinking "I just pop to Waitrose to get some shopping & then get something in the Cafe" you have to think "will the Cafe be open! Very poor management on what used to be a very very good service. ;(

   I have eaten here before and enjoyed it beer much. On this visit however the food was disappointing. I had the cooked breakfast and the mushroom and toast were perfect, the sausages were ok but on the overcooked side. The bacon was inedible for me as it was so overcooked. The eggs were under cooked. I don't normally give bad reviews but I treat myself to breakfast once in a while so was quite disappointed.
