I booked a 30 minute trial flight, and absolutely loved it! My instructor was amazing, and very knowledgeable, which put any nerves at ease straight away. Hoping to continue my training soon - would highly recommend!
Considering the cost and time commitment, I had done a lot of research selecting a flying school which had the availability, cost and lesson management and Almat came out on top - flying from both Coventry and Sywell. From the very first contact, Simon provided the Learn to Fly Guide and I took a trial lesson. From that point, I was hooked and progressed straight into a consultation with Almat to join the fast track PPL scheme. The flight instructors, lessons, student support and scheduling have been fantastic and these details are the small things which add up to the difference between a great school and an average school. Plane availability, maintenance and safety have also been excellent, so I have no hesitation in recommending Almat to earn your wings!
Almat is a well run and organised flying school that is professional and highly competent. The instructors and staff are friendly, and the quality of the instruction is excellent. With a good sized fleet and plenty of instructors, the chances of getting lessons frequently enough to progress are good. Highly recommend.
(Fast Track) I moved my PPL over to Sywell for reasons of convenience. This was the best decision I could have ever made. I can’t express in words the difference a superb instructor makes to this process and Tom is that instructor. Very knowledgeable and calm, the perfect temperament to teach anyone to fly. The aircraft are in great condition and the support tools and software assistance are superb. They have been flexible and accommodating and I’d give 7 stars if I could.
had a 30 minute introductory flying experience here. Tom, my instructor put me at ease and was happy to answer any questions, take me through the process of flying as much as I wanted, or get us going quickly so we could enjoy more time in the air. There was also plenty of time at the controls, performing basic manouvers to get a feel for the aircraft. I was also able to take my son who really enjoyed the experience. Would recommend
Booked a 30 min flying lesson with Tom. Very easy booking especially after they took on the voucher from a previous company. Tom made the whole experience very enjoyable. He was calm, explained everything as it was happening and have clear instructions. Will definitely think about booking more in the near future
Booked a trial flight for my son who is 13 and aviation mad. Tom was great. Friendly and explained everything really well. He put us at ease. My son loved it and is now keen to get his licence. Would definitely recommend.
