We had Chicken chow mein and beef chow mein. Friendly staff and limited waiting area. The dishes lacked flavour and the chicken tasted weird and had a strange texture to it very artificial.
We were staying locally at Colwell Bay with family and collected a takeaway from here. It was one of the best Chinese takeaways we have ever had! Delicious food, generous portions, and everything was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I tried this chinese. One of the poorest for food quality. Chicken and mushroom which had very little chicken. Rice had barely any meat for 8.50 and smallest pot of sweet and sour sauce. I would avoid. I will not being going back.
Impressed by generous portions and value for money. Food was not bad. The Singapore fried rice was especially good and chicken and prawn were well cooked. 赞！ But the food was held back by too much sauce, rendering the vegetables soggy. I'd recommend asking for less sauce. The dessert fritters we got had too thick of a batter on them, making them too greasy and heavy. Some quibbles: wait time was 1 hour... and we ordered banana fritters but got pineapple fritters instead. Can't really check since everything is boxed up.
We had a special chow mein (dry) and a vegetable chow mein and both were very tasty. Portions were more generous than our local takeaway in Sussex.
Food was so disgusting, crispy duck was strips of fat not even crispy. Phoned to complain and was laughed at for complaining. Was told by the owner the food comes ready made from somewhere else. I wouldn't even give this food to a dog. SHAME ON YOU SUNBO YOU SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS !!!
I am leaving this review so that the authorities know where to go if I perish from food poisoning in the night! Without doubt the worst meal of my life - let alone Chinese takeaway! The beef with pineapple tasted like it had been marinated in fairy liquid, the noodles were soggy and over-cooked, and the rice was bone dry. May have just thrown £35.80 in the bin! The people of Totland must be suffering from suppressed taste buds!
We had Chinese delivered to us from SUNBO and the experience wasnt great. We called up and asked for delivery and the reply from the person on the phone was 'you need to be quick, we are closing soon' despite not closing for 50 minutes according to the Internet. We ordered 3 items and the total was just over £20 including delivery fee and we thought it was fairly pricey for 3 items. We had 1 rice, a lemon chicken and sweet and Sour chicken balls. It did arrive very quickly and the driver was very nice and polite. The food was okay, the rice was nice but the Sweet and Sour chicken was very average. The chicken inside was pretty small covered in a huge amount of batter. My partner didnt like the Lemon chicken very much either. We probably wouldnt recommend this Chinese but it was edible and we did eat most of it.
Ordered from here multiple times, and every single time there is an issue; whether that is late delivery, not being able to find our address, missing items or whole wrong orders completely. Their saving grace is that the food is nice from here. I’d recommend collecting if you want to have the food from here.
