One of the bigger pubs in Wokingham with live music and plenty of room but still full of character. Good chit of ales as well
This is a lovely traditional pub with modern twists just a stone's throw from the station and good pitstop before you go to town. Has a garden and plenty of space. Plus a brilliant selection of drinks.
Great pub with live music, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was actually very good. I tried a burger topped with pulled pork and it was amazing, highly recommend!
Such a lovely pub to go to! Really good food and decently priced drinks. Bartenders who work there are an absolute credit to the place and so is the landlord, so friendly and creates such a nice atmosphere! Go on a night when they play live music, it's incredible. Definitely reccommend going gere if you're in wokingam!
Really nice pub , haven’t been here for a few years. Beer selection really good with real ales , nice environment, friendly staff .. under new ownership and just as good as I remember.
Warm and friendly atmosphere, family friendly, great rock soundtrack and a wicked darts board make this one of my favourite pubs in the area
The hope and anchor is a lovely mixture of super friendly staff members, beautiful garden , exceptional music, I was lucky enough to attend the kitchen testing , it seems some amazing selection of food is almost ready to be served! And the collection of drinks is superb , wolfpack beer, there latest addition was exceptional, hope & anchor exceeded my expectations in every mile p.s the guiness is really special in here something about the line configuration
Slightly tucked away from the centre of town, the Hope & Anchor is worth the short walk! One of my favourite pubs in Wokingham. Great drinks. Friendly staff. And the garden - an oasis! Bengal Tiger was on tap and scrumptious too; hoppy, earthy, and with a silky mouth-feel.
