   Had a great afternoon at the pub. The refurb earlier this year has given the pub a new energy and it's a really nice place to be. Quite busy today but with a nice vibe. Staff were busy as well but still very helpful and friendly. Nice food and drink including for our 3 little ones. Really good value as well. Well done to the new owners. We will be dropping in more often now.

   Staff seamed very happy, attentive, polite and friendly. Really makes a difference. Food good and really hot too. I was a little bit disappointed with the seasonal vegetables being just lots of peas with a little bit of carrot but the peas where really nice and sweet!

   Proper good bit of pub grub that! Come here a few times now and will be coming back more. Lovely service from the team, even being my drinks to the table when ordering at the bar. Staff tendered to all our needs and were super friendly!

   We came in today to see the new management and refurb. We had a warm friendly welcome from Jay, Connor and Mel. Couldn't resist trying the food. The signature burger and rump steak were particularly amazing. I also loved the honeycomb Sundae made by Marion. We're looking forward to our next visit, hopefully on a sunny day so we can sit outside. My son loved getting lots of attention from the staff, definitely a family friendly place. Can't wait to return

   I am usually delighted with my experience at The Two Poplars. Generally good value and excellent customer service. Today, however I was VERY disappointed- my order was wrong, but there was no offer to put it right, only a flippant and insincere ‘sorry’ when I pointed it out……. twice! Sorry Two Poplars, you let yourself …. and me …. down today. Hopefully this was a one off because generally I love you.

   Was in town last December for Christmas and to visit family and we went to this cozy pub. Location is good, food was amazing with reasonable waiting time. The Manager was very helpful and friendly. He helped us with queries of out and about the town and places around. Will be back again very soon.

   Feel like this pub is improving since the new manager took over. Staff are more friendly, the food is good and the place looks much cleaner! It's also dog friendly which is a plus and lots of parking.

   Highly recommend it! First time out as a group for 18 months! Great services, delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere! It was my first time, but not the last. Ample parking, ample space for social distancing (if you wish) and just a great service all around. Oh and AFFORDABLE prices (which is quite rare post pandemic).
