   I cycle here most days, weather permitting, and drop in for a flat white. Not many cyclists these days, mostly walkers, but a nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Outdoor seating is very pleasant. Food looks good, but I have to refrain for dietary reasons, which is a pity.

   This nice, outdoorsy kind of cafe is worth finding if you're walking around St Catherine's Hill or cycling along Sustrans route 23 along the Itchen Navigation. Very relaxed, and with a nice, wholesome menu, it's geared towards cyclists, walkers and passers by. The staff are very friendly eg Jen, and the food and drinks are good. If you need to park a car, try the free car park next door. I'll be back!

   Visiting from Lincolnshire, I spent the day in Winchester with my dog. Spotted the Cadence coffee shop when coming down from St Catherine's Hill. Popped in for a flat white and a piece of cake, both were delicious. The pooch even got a snack too in the form of a very sweet little bag of homemade treats. Really nice spot with an ideal outdoor seating area (pup could also go inside). Did have quite a good selection on the menu, I'd have been tempted for more but it was too early for lunch. Worth a pause after/before your climb or just because :)

   Lovely little cafe popped in after our dog walk customer service was brilliant the lady that served us was so friendly and lovely. We have to bacon baps and was very nice and reasonable priced. Also our dog was allowed too sit in with us which is always a bonus. Will definitely be going again. Lovely place with great surroundings areas with a lovely river

   Plenty seating, indoor and out, huge views over river. Smashing food all round, cakes, bakes, filled rolls, toasties. Coffee is amazing! Car park is small and always full, recommend using the park and ride over the road, or the most picturesque stroll from the city, across water meadows and riverside.

   Fantastic food and amazing coffee! Was served by Donna and she was so polite and very friendly! We had a baby with us and she was very accommodating with getting hot water so we could feed her. 10/10 service and amazing food and drink

   Really nice café in the middle of nowhere. Extremely well placed for a stop after a walk at St Catherine's Hill or the surrounding area. Dog friendly and space for bikes. Nice view. The chocolate orange cake was divine, like a juicy oversized jaffa cake. Can't give 5 stars sadly as my Victoria sponge was stale :'( the latte was alright
