   I would strongly advise avoiding this garage. My car (Ford Fiesta 2014) broke down and was brought here after being told they could check it. When we arrived, they said it would take 3–4 weeks just to inspect the car, which I agreed as I didn't had much of options at this point. After a week, instead of an update, I received a demand for payment before they would even look at it, I called and I asked if they checked the car, and they informed me that without a payment of 67 pounds they were not able to touch and check my car. A few days later, they claimed they hadn’t received the payment, and demanded another £40, (which was a lie as when I went there for the second time, they showed me that they received my payment). Despite me asking several times to be contacted with updates, they never called — we had to go in person three times. What’s worse is that after taking the payment, they said they had “checked” the car — but the car was never even moved inside the garage. It sat outside the whole time. They claimed they could check it from there, which is very questionable. Then, out of nowhere, I received an outrageous quote of £5,500 for a “new engine, wet belt, and a few other parts” — far more than the car is even worth. All of this started from someone taking a two-second glance and guessing it was the wet belt, without a proper inspection. Now, on top of everything, I have to pay again and waste more time just to remove my car from this place. This garage is dishonest and unprofessional, they demand money without doing real work, fail to communicate, and give ridiculous quotes. I regret ever letting my car be taken here.

   Fantastic Service from start to finish. Took my car in for MOT with known issues knowing it might fail, but Top Test was professional and honest throughout. They didn't add any issues, and at my request repaired both the fail and the advisory promptly and at a fair price. Great mechanics/garage that I will continue to use and trust for all my motoring needs. Customer service was excellent and did all they could to get me back on the road as quickly and safely as possible.

   Had used Top Test for a few years and always been really good but the last I used them my car was badly damaged down one side in the very short time that they had it (and acknowledged there was no prior damage when it was handed over to them). When I pointed this out on collecting I was essentially told tough luck, not their problem. Asked to see CCTV to show it wasn't damaged whilst in the garage but got told it doesn't work and it must have happen in the 2 minutes it was parked outside on double yellows..... Very reluctant to provide insurance details and no one wanted to take accountability even though ultimately they're liable as was under their care and control but eventually their insurance accepted liability and paid out after nearly 9 months of denial after the threat of going to court to resolve was put forward. Shame that they couldn't just resolve it there and then.

   Took my motorbike in to Top Test for it's MOT. Unfortunately it failed for two things, but they recommended me a great local motorbike mechanic that was able to get the two problems sorted for me within 24 hours. Took it for it's retest and now it's back on the road! The MOT didn't take too long, and the staff were friendly & helpful. Cheers! *edit* Took another bike to gets it’s MOT done, again perfect service, super friendly staff, thanks! :)

   Fantastic service Booked MOT a couple of days before and even though I was 5 minutes late they were accommodating. Waiting area is perfect you can see the staff do the checks whilst browsing or working on your phone. Competitively priced, highly recommended.

   MOT arranged within a couple of days after calling to book. They identified a safety issue when carrying out the MOT and booked my car in for repair and MOT retest within a couple of days. Very helpful especially as we forgot to bring the locking wheel nut with us. Great service all round and top class repair. Would not hesitate to use again and would throughly recommend.
