I called them and despite them being fully booked they were able to fit me in at literally a minute notice and quickly within a few minutes diagnose what was wrong with my car. I had been to another garage and they were unable to diagnose what was wrong with my car. He was able to diagnose what was wrong with my car as soon as he looked at the engine and did the electrical diagnostics. He was able to replace a cylinder and spark plugs immediately for my Peugeot 107. And all of it was done and dusted within an hour. Thank you so much I’m indebted to him and his colleague”

“I have been using MOT Bay for a god number of years now and have found Chris & Peter to very knowledgeable, competent and most of all very honest. I have been driving now for near on 40 years and used many different MOT garages but I have kept coming here for the reasons above not to mention the very very reasonable cost. “I contacted the Automotive expert on a friday at 2 pm to ask for help. My ignition barrel had seized and the car wouldn't turn off for almost 20 minutes until I managed to turn it. So essentially the car was stuck and I couldn't go anywhere. I was contacted back about half hour later to say they have the parts and if they couldn't get to me that day they'd be out the following morning with a courtesy call before had to let me know they were on the way. Saturday 11am phone call and about half hour later they arrived. Very professional and quick. Sorted the job out. A warning light came on the dash. Investigated to make sure nothing was wrong. Quick test drive later light out car fixed. So grateful for such a quick turn around. I thought I could be without a car for weeks. Thank you again.”

“I have really bad trust issues with garages these days more so than most. I’ve just started using these guys to work on a few of my cars and cannot recommend them enough. I gave my e61 to them to fit a couple of drive shafts that I had supplied, the job was more difficult than first anticipated due to the driveshafts being stuck in there, the price did not deviate at all from the quote. Most importantly though, they had forgotten to re attach one of the hight sensors for the rear air suspension. I noticed this upon collection and without hesitation they got it straight on the ramp and sorted the issue. We are all human and we call forget things and it’s especially easy to forget the dozens of needless sensors fitted to modern day cars. The key take away here is that the blame wasn’t put on me as a customer and they held their hands up to the issue, this is an attribute that I feel is EXTREMELY rare these days and almost unheard of even at main dealer level, and for that reason alone I hope to give them much more work and you should consider doing so too if you’re reading this review deciding which garage to take your car too. Honesty and integrity is everything. And these guys certainly have that in abundance.”

“Amazing service and my loyalty will remain with them forever ...they came to my rescue after my car went into battery failure mode and shut down. Took RAC 5 hours to come out to me - on my own no lights nothing and no street lights - since rejoined the AA. Called them the next morning and they said get the recovery lorry to bring it over and they replaced the battery within a day and a half plus diagnostic checks. Their honestly and professionalism is five stars plus their friendliness, communication and positive attitude just tops everything. Judi”

“First class MOT service from the team down at Fast Fit. Guarantee if you take your car here they won't invent faults to try and get business. I knew of two possible advisories before the MOT and they found and recorded both. In both cases told me that there was no immediate concern and would probably last a good couple of years but to keep an eye on it. Good honest mechanics are hard to find in this day and age. This team is definitely on the good side! Would highly recommend this MOT centre if you are in or around the Basingstoke area! “Had a great experience with these guys recently. Booked in last minute for an MOT the following day. Was contacted by the garage in the morning to apologise and say there was an issue with their online booking system and they were actually fully booked. However, told me if I brought my car in they would fit it in between customers. I had to be at work so I drove to the garage, picked up a member of the team and drove back to my place of work with him. He then took my car and sorted the MOT. They then drove my car back to me at work. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Would recommend to everyone especially as their prices are so reasonable!”
