    Very good receptionist Hannah, was on today. I wanted to wait for my cars mot and service to be done. I was there 6 hours, they’re very busy of course, I’d booked the job online. Horrible wet day outside, but comfy seats, free drinks and nice staff made the experience quite bearable. Well done Halfords Reading

    Very efficient and friendly, been using this garage for years, deviated once because I couldn't get an appointment at the time i needed it and regretted going elsewhere. I plan better now so I can guarantee an appointment here.

    Good professionals, but I pre-booked front tyres fitting and after arriving at time, I stillI had to wait 2.5h just for fitting two tyres and front wheels alignment. If you care about the time, do not come here.

    I had a wheel alignment done here, and the job was completed quickly. Dropping off and collecting the car was also fast and convenient. The garage has plenty of parking, which is a great advantage. Highly recommend!

    This garage is a disaster. I booked an appointment at 8:30am. I got an email, I got two text messages telling me not to forget my appointment and to be here on time. I was at the garage on time. Now as I write this it is 5:09pm. My car is still in the parking lot, nothing has been done to it. It is still where I parked it this morning. The receptionist lied to me twice when I asked. He said that 8:30am is not a reservation, the time I want to leave my car there. I asked him if I choose 4pm, is it not a slot, but the time I want to leave my car there? He couldn't answer that.... The second time he lied when he said there was no staff. When I was here in the afternoon there were at least 10 workers but I think there were more mechanics in the workshop. Now it is 5:20pm and there are three workers here. So the rest of them went home? Never come to this garage! They lie! Update. 6pm closes... 6:02pm they brought my car into the garage. Now they are doing the work after closing. I have my doubts about the quality. I don't know how legal this is. I would just like to say again that the car has been here since 8:20 am. update: They brought the car into the garage after 6:00pm. There were still three mechanics there then. Two left at 6:25pm. They left their colleague working alone here. And they are wasting my time even more... I got the car back at 7:41pm. I hope they did everything right. I won't come here again.... And I will recommend this to my taxi colleagues. Sorry.... update: The service was two days ago. The receptionist couldn't use the billing program on the day of the service. He said because they were already closed. Due to the inconvenience, we agreed on a discount that I would get back. (It was a prepaid service). He said to write a message to the colleague working in the morning and he would do it. Of course, nothing happened. I didn't get a discount and they didn't even send me an invoice. The next morning, I only received an email saying "good news, the car is ready..." Complaint case open: 25427422

    Excellent service and treated with courtesy. Location is a little bit awkward to get to and from and nowhere to wait, so if you've left your car (which, let's face it, is quite likely!), you have to go wandering about on foot for a couple of hours.

    Very good service from Halfords today, replaced both rear tyres and headlight bulb. Very well priced and gave me a quote on replacing rear springs at a much cheaper price than Ford's offered. Would very much recomend.

    Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Was told by another garage that their shotty work is the reason a part now needs replacing. Of course, Halfords took no responsibility. Beware, the work they do today could cause you more repairs down the road. And their prices for parts and service are excessive. Learn from me and take to your vehicle to a more trustworthy garage.

    The booking was for a service on my Motor home which is 6.2 metres long and 3.1 metres tall . There are very few garages which can handle a vehicle of this size . At the booking stage the staff on the phone were very helpful and reassured me they could handle a vehicle of this size. On arrival the staff were very helpful and friendly even under the pressure of Covid 19 restrictions. They confirmed what the service would include and said they would call me when it was ready. On collection I was told there were no problems although it would be one to watch out for on tyre balancing. There was no hard sell or attempt to upsell on any other products which I appreciate. I was also pleased to see seat covers and paper mat were used as the motor home is in excellent condition and was respected by your staff. overall very happy with the service and the price, I will recommend to other motor home owners.
