The staff was courteous; I kindly request that the orders be served in the sequence they were placed. The quality of the hot chocolate was not satisfactory. However, I appreciate your efforts and hope that the food quality will improve. The atmosphere, on the other hand, is commendable.

Wanted to love this place so much as a keep parkrunner I always use the local cafe near the runs. However covid seems to have affected this cafe into a takeaway only service and it's stayed that way. The food and drinks are pretty standard and nothing special, which is such a shame as so many parkrunners have money and would pay for good quality items.

If you like your sausage singular and anemic and your bacon undercooked and chewy and your tomato sauce a strange colour and with strong vinegar undertones, then say no more! For just £3.60 you too can buy a cob with undercooked meat and you can wait 10 minutes for it too. The good news is that they only give you 1 sausage and 1 bacon so the unpleasantness is over quickly. Pricey and badly run. It's a shame, the park deserves better.

A nice place with foods and various hot drinks. In summer time, provide ice-cream with various taste. Quite a good place to chat with friends to have a short rest and relax after exercise.

When visiting Derby to see family we go to Alvaston Park which is beautiful and having the Café there is nice. We have had chips, ice cream and drinks here and everytime it's been good and the staff polite. From my experience have nothing bad to say.

Two stars because the sausage cob was very nice but the blonde lady that served me asked for £9.00 gave me 10p change from a ten pound note and walked away... we also asked for onions but she just ignored the request didn't say they didn't do onions just simply didn't put them on and walked away again! She used her manners when she did speak but she's quite ignorant...i love the park and the lake and normally the cafe but she should consider another line of work!

Been twice now in the past few weeks. Drinks are ok and food is average. The blonde cooks who works in the kitchen is rude and impolite. Complaining the fact she has to cook a few easy meals. Also we saw her biting the packet of chips before putting in the fryer which in light of the coronavirus is absolutely disgusting. The other lady at the café with dark hair was very polite but it just doesn't make up for such vile and disgusting behaviour

Basic cafe with lucky dip service, council run it on min wage agency staff so if you order food it's a lucky dip as to what comes out.I don't blame the staff as minimum wage equals minimum effort and your onto another job in a different location tomorrow ,so your not invested into the business or bothered about wanting a customer to come back as it doesn't matter to you.
