   Visited again last week to have a family meal.. service is always fab and atmosphere. However I was extremely disappointed with my jacket potatoe which I was really looking forward too.. it was microwaved.. u just just tell.. n I thought I could of done better at home.. I barely touched mine.. my son and partner had really good meals.. I was just a little upset with the quality of mine.

   Service a1 but they forgot bacon on both of our big breakfasts. The sausages let the rest off the breakfast down. 'best in Derby' should be using quality sausage not cheap catering sausages

   One of the best Cafes I have been too. A very wide selection of hot and cold fresh foods. Service excellent. Poor parking is the only downfall but the staff even try to help by bringing the food to you outside the cafe if you give them a call.

   Standards seemed to have dropped unfortunately. Big breakfast at £5.20 with no drink included; the breakfast quality is not the same as it used to be, they are now using cheaper quality sausages and beans and the portion sizes have reduced. On ordering I asked for the big breakfast and fries and was served the breakfast with fried bread !! When we questioned the missing fries the owner (I am presuming) said I should talk properly - wow !!!! This place used to serve the best breakfast in Derby but they seem to have taken their eye off the ball.

   Great experience - popped in for the first time this morning for a cuppa and breakfast and was greeted with great customer service. No issue with providing a decent vegan breakfast and very reasonable price considering the current economic climate - I'd recommend this place over and over again. Don't bother with the supermarket cafes or other chains when small independents like this one provide such a good service, and just 5 min drive from the city centre!
