Visited Mezzo today. And i was'nt disappointed. The atmosphere in the shop was so calm. Shop was nice and clean to. Customer service was brilliant. Nice and smiley. Food was very good. Definitely worth a visit what is!
Absolutely loved Mezzo! The atmosphere was warm and elegant, the staff were friendly and attentive, and every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. It’s the perfect spot for lunch or cozy dinner. Definitely recommend it!
From just looking at the menu the food seems really basic and overpriced and I do find it difficult to justify spending £9.95 on lunch (with the small portion option) but while the ingredients are simple the portion you get for small is filling and as they say the ingredients truly are fresh and delicious. My favourites were the daal and hot potatoes. The main protein I had, chicken breast, seemed bland at first glance but actually tasted very good. Unfortunately I forgot to take additional pictures below the top layer. I think I'd only get this for lunch on special occasions but I think I would get the better value medium for dinner more often, I can't imagine finishing a medium bowl in one sitting. 2: I finally found an excuse to go again and it was really good. I had the salmon this time, which cost £2.50 extra ! It was quite good, a touch fishy. I had the daal, chicken curry, beef rice thingy. It was all quite filling and good.
Love the buffet lunch, so many healthy options, RIP bread and pasta! ❤️ My favourite is the Salmon and love the hot options including dahls and hot veggies. Meatballs are also fantastic. Home made coleslaw is awesome, as are the beans and couscous, so many options when looking for high protein.
Stopped by for a coffee and damn – best decision ever. Super smooth, strong but not bitter, just perfect. Vibe was chill, staff super nice. Could’ve stayed all day tbh. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re seriously missing out. I’m 100% coming back.
The best restaurant in derby. So great to have a restaurant with a wide variety of healthy delicious meals. There are so many vegan and gluten-free options. We love being able to choose the size of our bowl (which means the kids can have the right size for them) and then choose from proteins, hot options, sides and the massive salad bar. We highly recommend their falafel, potato wedges and coleslaw. We will be going many more times! Service is quick and everyone’s really friendly.
Love the food here. So many options to choose from. Food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff are so nice and welcoming and have a great engagement with their customers too. I have been going to Mezzo since it pretty much opened and would highly reccomend this place to anyone !!
I’ve got to say that this is my go to place if I’m fancying a takeaway. The food is sooo good! I’ve tried a few meals from Mezzo but my favourites have got to be the chicken curry as well as a portion of potato wedges. Highly recommend. You can tell that they use nothing but excellent quality food to make their meals. If you haven’t tried Mezzo, you really should! You won’t regret it!
First time I've ordered from this restaurant via a take away app, the food was tasty, cooked very well as its tough to get fresh veg cooked just right but this was perfect. Food was still nice a warm on arrival. Food was also reasonable priced and the best take away Food I've had in years and I suffer from eating issues. 100% recommended.
