   This morning (June ‘25), I took my car for its first service in my ownership. The folks at Tom Lenthall were exceptional. Clear and timely communication, excellent advice regarding my car and pragmatic advice to save myself some money. A brilliant service but also, the most personable, knowledgeable and friendly mechanics I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I cannot ever consider taking my car anywhere else now, despite the commute to get there. Thank you folks.

   Have taken both Jaguars (2013 XK and 2022 F-Pace) to them in recent weeks. Flawless experience, and the contrast with the typical franchise dealership is stunning. They really know their stuff, actively advise, work to a high standard, don't try to upsell, and charge sensibly.

   Tom Lenthall and his great team (shout out to Adam) have saved my (car's) bacon on several occasions. Always helpful and conscious of the cost of car maintenance I trust them completely. Standard servicing is good value and they also offer sensible tuning options. Their collective expertise is evident as whenever we take either our Land Rover or Jaguar in with issues they usually have identified the problem before even looking at the car. It's always nice to see the restorarion projects when visiting too.

   I visited Tom Lenthall Ltd recently for my F-Type's annual service, and I also visited them previously in December 2023 to service my engine belts & supercharger belts. Both visits were brilliant, Adam and the team at Tom Lenthall are fantastic people, and I fully recommend them to anyone looking to get their Jaguar or Land Rover serviced here. The service prices were fair and much more competitive compared to the quotes by Jaguar dealerships, but more importantly, I know that I can trust them to service my car to the highest standard. The team is accommodating, the reception/waiting area is comfy, and there's free tea & coffee available. They're also able to provide a taxi service and a discount on enterprise rental cars (although the latter needs to be booked a few days in advance, prior to your service).

   Today I had the 6th year service done and differential oil changed on the F Type by Tom Lenthall in Berkshire, they also updated the service history online and is already showing all they have done. Comparing the service I had today from Tom's team to last year by the main stealer it is night and day!!!. From the moment I arrived to collection I had excellent service and answers to my questions, I can not recommend them enough. I am lucky I am only 15 miles from Tom's workshop, but even if you are from further afield it is worth the journey for peace of mind. N.S.

   Our Land Rover Discovery had engine failure in Gloucestershire. Tom and the team were incredibly helpful in getting the vehicle back and also helping us choose the right engine replacement which they fitted. They could've easily gone for the most expensive (or cheapest) option but talked us through all scenarios pros/cons and helped us pick the best and most cost effective one including a long parts and labour guarantee. Can't speak highly enough of the knowledge, honesty and professionalism of Tom, Adam and the wider team.

   Called Tom Lenthall Ltd at 3pm yesterday and spoke to Adam about an exhaust filter fault code on my Discovery Sport. My Wife is pregnant and due in 3 weeks so need the car ASAP. Dropped off at 8am today and they called by 9.50am to say it’s ready. Fitted me in at short notice. Great from the first phone call to collection. I will now be coming back for my services. Highly recommended!

   I have been bringing my cars to Tom Lenthall Ltd for a number of years. During this time I have always admired the quality and high level of professionalism of the work that the team do. For me, I want to work with a business that I trust, know that I will receive value for money, good service, and quality, and importantly really enjoy coming to see Tom and the team. I have just had a complete retrim in biscuit of my Jaguar E-type 2+2. This included new headlining, leather covered dash, door handles and stereo console, and a new stereo with Bluetooth connectivity to the phone. I am thrilled with the final completed job, and would recommend Tom Lenthall Ltd for any work on a Jaguar or Land Rover, classic or modern.
