Had a 3 hour round trip to buy a tv cabinet. Spoke to the shop beforehand to check it was solid wood and was told it was, and there were only a few minor blemishes. Had we been told it was from chiltern oak, we wouldn’t have wasted our time, as already seen their website and the bad reviews on their items. Got there and it was not solid wood and had lots of heavily damaged areas, so left empty handed. Staff member seemed disinterested and was insistent on telling us she was just filling in for the day. Suppose you get what you pay for!!!!
