   First time visiting this venue. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We had two coffees, a flapjack and crumpets with cheese and beans. The coffee and food were excellent. Will definitely return.

   Love the various soups and cakes on offer at this cafe. Before covid they used to do the most amazing falafels and hummus too. They also have a huge selection of teas, from herbal to fruit to regular, the teapig brand which is top quality. All the staff are volunteers and are super friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The seating areas are relaxing and cosy, I especially love the outside terrace in the courtyard. Lovely atmosphere and always peaceful. The parking down past the cafe is best as there is plenty of room near the gardens.

   A friend and I have been coming here for a few months now, and although they don't have the hugest range of savoury options, the food is always delicious and homemade. Everything is homemade, and vegetarian or vegan. Their cake selection is large and varied too. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. The location is stunning so bring your walking boots and make the most of the grounds.
