I have used Motech a few times now and woudn't take my car anywhere else now. Every member of their team was professional and incredibly friendly. I recently had a minor issue with my car and they were able to help within 15 minutes. I am so grateful for the great service everytime.

Friendly on the surface but in my experience are not trustworthy. Most recently they failed my MOT for one very small issue I'd already told them about, and asked them to sort beforehand. (I now have a totally avoidable fail certificate on my previously clean history, thanks a bunch...) When they called to inform me of the MOT fail they also lied about finding additional problems / fault codes I was unaware of. I was frustrated and so took the car away immediately suspecting foul play. A main dealer workshop could not find the issues Motech "informed" me of, so it's at least to me 100% proven that Motech attempted to scam me at least on this occasion. The car actually passed the MOT test days later after I simply replaced a glow plug, which I had asked them to do for me but alas... I was admittedly a bit foolish going there again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after my last visit, thinking the MOT test was a simpler job so it'll be fine. My first experience with them, I came in with a different car and a clutch pedal that was stuck to the floor. After some research the problem appeared to be simple and not overly expensive but Motech soon informed me that I needed a whole new clutch and flywheel which was surprising as I'd never experienced clutch slip and only owned the car a year and it had a mileage of only around 35,000. Oh well, blame the previous owner as you do... Motech wouldn't lie, right? Well after the job was done and my bank account drained the car didn't really feel like it had a whole new clutch and flywheel to me. But what do I know? So I asked them about the sticky pedal and I was told that "it'll self adjust soon" and to "just drive the car", however the clutch needed replacing again after less than 2000 miles which I of course had done at another location, this other garage even took the time to show me with evidence the shoddy job done previously at Motech. (I'm not actually confident that Motech even replaced the clutch and flywheel the first time to be honest as I never saw the old or new parts...) Please don't make my mistake. Trust your gut.

Who ever was driving their 4x4 truck shouting abuse out the window very unprofessional. "Pull forward you d***heads" Really what I wanted to hear through all my closed windows.

Highly recommend Motech. They look After all my familyβs cars. Recently my daughter had a problem with her 9βyear old car, took it to Motech and they told her the issue would be covered by Ford Warranty instead of taking on ( and charging) for the repair. Good honest family run business. Highly recommend.

I had my MOT and service done at Motech today after taking previous cars to Mazda for years. I was very impressed with the top class quality customer service. There was no problem when I needed to rearrange at short notice. It is a very professional set up. All the staff were polite and friendly. Plus there was no hard sell on any extras that I didn't need or want (which has happened at other garages in the past). Plus on a bank holiday weekend on a Friday afternoon, it only took 3 hours to turn it around. They also offer a collection/redelivery service and are open 7 days a week. Why aren't all garages like this? Great job Motech!!!! I will be coming back and recommending all my friends and family to pay you a visit. Thanks!
