Had an emergency appointment (non registered patient) with tooth extraction. All staff were amazing and the dentist (Recep Songur) made it a smooth easy visit. Highly recommend.
Dr Catherine (The Best Dentist -in my opinion) always very kind and respectful, very skilled , and has a magic touch when sorting painful teeth. I highly recommend her . At my last appointment, she was assisted by nurse Sara who skillfully helped make the whole experience go very smoothly.
My partner visited this practice just for a consultation. Long story short. She saw Dr Patel which was not helpful at all. My partner has TMJ disorder and cannot keep her mouth open for more than 20 minutes at best. But Dr Patel said she will be fine completely ignoring her saying she will be fine to do a 2 hour procedure. And it’s just “nerves” which Is not true. Dr Patel cared more about promoting her social media account and kept on Boasting about how good she is. I am very shocked and appalled because your practice has great reviews. What a waste of £120 just to be ignored. Will not be coming back here again and waste more money.
Disappointing I felt a total lack of care and empathy from Dr Patel today. She was more interested in trying to convince and push me to have a procedure I was unsure about rather than explaining all options and telling me to look at her work on social media. I also explained I have severe chronic jaw pain and didn’t feel comfortable having a procedure in a certain way and she was dismissing me telling me I would be fine when I know I would not be. She told me I was just nervous and should bring some headphones to listen to a podcast. Really?? I am really disappointed due to the great reviews your practice has online and my experience did not reflect this. I understand she may be good at her work, but she came across arrogant and cocky while completely dismissing my concerns by painting me as a nervous patient when I am not, just can’t have long appointments due to severe musculoskeletal pain. I felt she was unwilling to work with me and discuss treatment options and adaptations and I was being pushed a certain way to just have the procudure and pay the practice X amount. I cannot believe I spent £120 on a consultation appointment which started off by running late and was of such appalling quality. I would rather take my money elsewhere where I feel listened to and receive better quality of care.
I’ve been a patient at Oaktree Dental for a few years now and cannot recommend them enough. From the friendly and professional receptionist team, to the gentle yet thorough hygienists and my dentist Sunny who has made me feel at ease from day 1. I have a complex dental history so finding somewhere that I can trust is important to me. I’ve been over the moon with the work Sunny has done for me so far, he is very skilled and I wish I’d switched to Oaktree sooner!
If I could give a 0 I would, my son had a tooth infection which he contacted this dentist about and told them he had a tooth infection and needed a tooth out, they told him to come in next day for a consultation which he did for them to tell him that he had a infection and needed a tooth out and charged him £55 to tell him what he already knew, then they made him wait a week to have tooth out while not even treating the infection, he was in so much pain for that week, he finally had the tooth out but they still didn’t treat the infection so now a week and a half after having tooth removed he is in agony and the dentist has just told him that he needs to come in and get it seen too urgently but they cannot fit him in for another week, what sort of dentist is this???!!! So looks like a trip to A+E to sort out the incompetence of this dentist. Shocking!!!!!
Highly recommend Oaktree Dental Practice. Dr Nikhil Shah did my composite bonding and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Nikhil made sure to take the time to discuss my desired results and cerertainly delivered. It has also been a massive confidence boost. Nurses and reception are very friendly too.
Brilliant experience all way through, from the emergency appointment with Sonny to completing treatment with specialist Kreena. Reception were brilliant keeping me up to date with late notice cancellation availabilities to ensure I wasn't in pain for too long. Kreena and Rox were a brilliant and compassionate team and whilst I hope this was my first and last root canal, I couldn't have asked for a more calm, comfortable and reassuring experience.
Excellent dental pracice, I moved to Newbury and was looking for a new dentist. I rang 4 different ones then rang Oaktree and Sarah answered the phone, her kindness and warmth shone down the phone, she made me feel welcome, that it would be okay and she was the reason I walked through the door, Sarah is a huge asset to the practice and makes everything feel okay. I have since been for a check up and then a tooth rebuild, my dentist and dental nurse were awesome, I can once again smile with confidence. Highly recommend.
