The former shop at Hazelhead was full of spirit. This one is shockingly soulless. No care at Somebody Cares anymore.

Updated review. Formerly given 5 stars. The former staff have mostly gone and with it the feeling of actually being welcomed. More of a focus on furniture now and much less kids toys. Prices have gone up significantly. Used to be a pleasure to come visit and look for things now it's a chore and I much prefer going to other charity shops that have a much better atmosphere. I did email in a complaint at one point but never heard anything back which I feel says it all. The care is gone from somebody cares. Previous review; Staff work hard and are very friendly and will keep an eye out for particular things for you. Place can be untidy at times due to customers letting children use it as free for all and play centre with no respect. Some customers also seen swapping prices on items! It is really recommended as there is a great range and prices are usually very fair.

Service is absolutely shocking. Went into have a look. Seen a poster that I really liked. I enquired about it with a polish woman. And literally 10 mins passed and I just decided to give up. Then went to till to try and ask someone else. But same woman came and said to come back for it at the end of the week as their that busy. Like really. Are you that busy to just spend 5 mins to take it down and roll it up. The prices of some stock it ridiculous for when they get it for free. I know it’s for profit. But like common with some of it. Some of the stock is also really grubby. Like they should be cleaning things before they go on sale. Won’t be back in a hurry really.

This shop had suffered a big transformation from the last time I visited. Great layout and something to buy for everyone at good prices. Staff are very helpful and it’s nice to see a smile around. Great service. Well done to everyone.

Somebody Cares charity retail shop specifically for toys and toddler related stuff. Huge selection for baby furniture and toddlers.
