   Friendly busy pub on the edge of Derby city. Great atmosphere & karaoke nights.plenty of seating and tables. Clean toilets, small but pleasant area for smoking outside

   Just strolled in to kill a bit of time. Made to feel welcome straight away. Had a couple of games of pool, even karaoke going on in the background. Definitely call in again if I'm in the area.

   Excellent local, with great bar staff and plenty of space for when it gets busy. Gents toilets are exceptional. If maintained you're in Derby, and you want a proper pub, then you won't be disappointed.

   Really enjoyed our visit. Great beer even if only a few of real ales pumps were actually on. Atmosphere was mixed as only a few in but they tended to have drunk too much .would go back if in the area again.

   Lovely pub, situated on;- "Old Nottingham Road, Derby", only a fairly quick walk, or, cheap cab ride away (£3.50) from "Derby City Centre", as it's just on the outskirts of it! Very friendly landlord, & bar staff, &, have met some wonderful new people, &, made some good friends here. They have stopped doing food here, since "Covid Lockdown". I do know they have do "Karaokes", on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Evenings', if you budding "Wannabe ELVIS's", want a croon, &, they have just started a "Monday Club Karaoke", that starts at 4pm, until 9/10pm. Some "#Live Music", is sometimes on here so, if you do go their, look out for the posters around the pub, or, go on the pub;- "#Facebook Page", for regularly updated info'!!! The place is always spotlessly clean, &, does get fairly busy-ish at the weekends. They have began a "Monday Club Karaoke", that starts at 4pm til 8pm, &, is relatively for those who don't want the hassle from city centre pubs, &, silence in some of them. Could do with a lot more people turning up, as it was started for you lot out their, 2 give you somewhere to go on a usually quiet Monday in most other pubs around "Derby"!!!

   Very safe, clean & friendly local pub. Fantastic landlord & bar staff. Kareoke 4 nights a week plus a pool table & darts. Always assured of a warm welcome.

   Can't really comment in depth, as I was the stand-in drummer in the covers band Woodstone. We played for above two hours to a friendly, happy crowd who seemed like a decent bunch of people. It's a very nicely presented pub, staff and gaffer are great. If it wasn't an hour's drive away, I'd definitely consider it the type of pub to make my local.
