Had a few problems which got sorted but with me being a sole trader and taking my van for repair, I need to have my van back working when told Since I posted this review, the Halfords team have been in contact and have acted very professionally and quickly. Which is very good as it was a one off low score after a few 5’s

   Disgraceful service. I took car in for headlight alignment after changing bulbs. Im a fully qualified mechanic but needed MOT equipment to line headlights correctly. 2 visits and both the manager and a different guy 2nd day said couldn't be adjusted as broken. After 1st day I removed headlight and checked everything and nothing obvious broken. 2nd day on being told light was broken couldn't be adjusted I was quoted over £420 for new headlight fitted. I refused as knew the adjustment worked fine as I could move it myself!! I took car to a different garage and surprise surprise they adjusted headlight to correct level no problem at all. Your "mechanics" are a joke and I'd never use one of your centres again or recommend.

   Halfords Millbrook in southampton is by far the best I have been for repairs. The guys are very friendly and know what they are doing and most importantly they are very honest. I have gone to them now for several things, from coolant system replacement, MOT and a full service and I will continue to use them as my main mechanic. The manager Richard is a top notch guy, who tries to always put the customer first. I would fully recommend these guys to anyone. Thank you again Richard and Team you are 5 star team!

   I went there other week for MOT and it done within a hour and I left there for next day to change for new set of tyres and I am very happy with that and follow week I called up for Repair what needed and they booked me in and yesterday they called me it all done at very reasonable price. They explained what is what. I am very happy with all the staff specially the receptionist remembered me from other week and they are very helpful to explained with thing top team ever

   MOT - Great team out there, very helpful guys. Rich was particularly very good with me as a customer, you could sense that he’s one of those guys who understand the vulnerability of customers for car repairs and don’t try to exploit their limited knowledge on car problem. Very open and honest. There’s the other bearded guy, who I didn’t manage to get his name, special shout-out to him. I’d always go back there if I need anything else, I’ve previously been unlucky with garages.

Richard's prompt, efficient action was invaluable and made my day as my car was transferred quickly to Queensway where I had had a recent service ad MOT and was near where my car was parked.
