I just get a lemon and lime before heading to the history group. We have the meeting in the extension. The staff are always polite and friendly.
A friendly and honest great English pub
Good for a quick pint after work, friendly staff and not too many locals crowding the bar so you can't order. I haven't eaten here we always seem to miss the kitchen hours. Bonus points for it being lovely and warm inside the pub on a cold wet day

We moved to Hatton last year and had never visited The Kings Head apart from a few weeks back when we went for Sunday lunch. We were completely blown away by the spectacular food, it was absolutely delicious and extremely great value for money! The staff were all very friendly too. It felt like we'd been going for years. We were talking with the owner about having a gender reveal for our baby and we were saying we are looking for a venue. Unbeknown to us, The Kings Head have a great function room which was perfect! Within 2 weeks of booking the room out, we had the reveal. It was absolutely amazing! The room was a great space, we had over 60 people come to the party. We were allowed music, decorated the room however we wanted and couldn't of asked for a better day! We have attached photos of them room for more to see. If you are thinking of hiring a venue for birthdays etc, The Kings Head is definitely the place! Thank you for having us and we cannot wait to return for the amazing Sunday lunch.
Luke and the team hosted a wake for my friend. From our initial chat through to the event the service was exceptional, friendly and courteous. The food was excellent. They catered for a wide variety of dietary requirements- nothing was too much trouble. Really can’t fault them in anyway. Thank you x
Had food 3 times since new landlord brought the menu back. Really good pub food every time and well stocked bar. Much friendlier and better atmosphere already! Keep it up!
Visited for Sunday lunch today and the food was absolutely beautiful, hot, fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be back. The new landlord has breathed life back into the pub and made it a friendly welcoming place to spend a few hours. Well done Luke!
Very welcoming and enthusiastic staff, who have quickly integrated themselves into the village community spirit! The food is a step up from standard pub fare, but still with affordable pricing, so a great combination in these inflationary times! The beer is well looked after, served with a smile, and the selection when live music has been booked has been quality so far! Definitely worth the support of the locals and beyond as the population is big enough to sustain all the villages pubs!
Had a great time here for our family Christmas meal. Even though it's Nov (the only time we could all get together) the table was decorated which was lovely! It was a great meal, the staff were fab and we were well looked after. Hoping to pop back soon for some cocktails :)
