Kayley is an amazing hairdresser and colourist. She has been cutting my hair for years and is always happy to help guide and advise what will suit me. She has given me the confidence to change my colour based on how I feel at the appointment. She’s friendly and knowledgeable and great with dealing with my super thick hair.
This is a lovely, friendly salon with a great bunch of stylists. I've been coming for many years and have enjoyed great service (and wonderful hair styling) all the time. They listen to what you want and are happy to make suggestions to improve the look - and have been consistently right, in my case. I thoroughly recommend any one of the stylists to look after you.
Kayley is the best and I won’t trust anyone else with my hair. I’ve been using her for a couple of years now, she always does exactly what I ask and I’m always happy when I leave the salon. She’s so friendly and personable and makes it a really enjoyable experience, and I always look forward to seeing her. I’ve used a couple of hairdressers before Kayley but without a doubt wouldn’t go anywhere else now :)
I’ve been searching so many salons for my balayage and I finally decided OHMY, and oh my! Couldn’t have asked for a better place for my first balayage. The staff is very friendly and the salon is clean. I had my balayage done by Karl, who was soo warm and patient, greeted me well, offered me refreshments and suggested what works best for my skin tone, Karl’s excellent and has great knowledge about hair colour! Thank you to Imogen for my balayage. This was the first time I was bleaching my hair and using Cocoon as I recently moved to Reading and did not have a regular hair salon. Imogen listened to what I wanted and provided me with her professional advice. She kept me up-to-date with the process and products she used on my hair. Had a brilliant experience with Jess in the salon today. She is just about to get her full qualification but you couldn't tell - she was informed and made sure she was clear on what I was asking her for. She is also the only stylist that has ever asked me if i'd like my hair dried with it's natural curl rather than blow drying it straight - which I loved!
I this is the best saloon in Reading and they kept an excellent quality of service over the years. They do hairdressing but they also offer a large palette of services for men and women alike (manicure, pedicure, color...). If you are there, I recommend Charlie. She does an amazing job and she is a nice person too. 5-stars!
